Ocean Avenue and Beyond--The Official Yellowcard Thread

Hi all!

Just heard great news that Yellowcard has gotten back together. They were on an "indefinite hiatus" since 2008 but signed with Hopeless Records recently.

I listened to Ocean Avenue a lot in 2003-04. The only other album of theirs I ever listened to in full was Lights and Sounds, which I also liked. I'm not super excited about Yellowcard returning, but I'm interested. They're a pretty big get for Hopeless, too. Most former major-label bands associated the punk scene seem to go to Epitaph or Side One Dummy.

I liked Yellowcard back when I was in high school, which was when Ocean Avenue was first released. Lights and Sounds was alright. Paper Walls wasn't very good. I'm not what you'd call "excited" about them reuniting, but I'd give their new stuff a try eventually.
