I personally love the idea of horror films, but too many just don't impress me, unfortunately. The only two I own and love are The Blair Witch Project and Silent Hill.

I actually think this is a good Idea for a Thread we can talk about Horror Movies that are coming out soon and all kinds of stuff. Anyway my Favorite Horror Character/Slasher/Monster has to be Freddy Krugger. This guy scarred me to death when I watched the 1st NOES.

Speaking of that anybody looking foward on seeing Hatchet? Its a new Slasher Movie coming out that has Robert England Tony Todd and Kane Hodder I think it looks cool.

i guess my favorite would be the original TCM. but i also LOVE romero's dead trilogy, and lucio fulci's zombie. re-animator is another fav. i love a good b-horror movie, but good ones are so hard to come by...and evern harder, the so bad that its good movies.

B-Horror movies are my favt:
For me horrors are best when they are really cheesy
or have black comedy elements to them.

I don't believe in horror movies. I've never seen one that scared me. So they don't exist no such thing.

I can't even begin to think what to say about a comment like this involving no logic. LOL!!!!

Just because they don't scare you since im guessing your older than if you watched them as a kid, that makes them not exist!?!

Just to let you know, Horror movies aren't just supposed to scare you, especially with cheap jump in your seat thrills. There's different types of horror, some kinds are to gross people out, others to keep you on the edge of your seat. I don't know, that statement was incredibly illogical.

I like Japanese inspired horror movies. I do hate slasher flicks, especially when the killer lumbers around at the pace of a 90 year old amputee. I also hate the fact that a man, Jason and Michael, can get shot and stabbed so many freaking times and still live...ridiculous.

The only reason Michael keeps getting back up is because he is cursed or something like that. Don't know the fulll story to it.
