There`s a Monster, Possibly Moose or Bear, But blue, and he ate my leg but then I made claws and stabbed him....

I laugh at that everytime I read it...:)

my fav part was when wolvie was talking to god and he stops ranting for a sec and just says: "im in a tree"
classic! LMAO

This has just been really good X-men storytelling and art at its finest. The only thing that would make this book any better was if Gambit was in it. :D

No it wouldn't. :down

ugh im so tired of hearing people complain about not having gambit in a book. i dont see the appeal, he is cool but c'mon

Cassaday draws some of the most expressive faces in the businnes, the face of Wolverine as a kid, Kitty finding out who Perfection really is, and Emma under the ground, are jus a few examples

Yeah. There's a lot of other characters who could also be in it. Gambit being the least of them.

Yeah, but Whedon could do Gambit up right. I was never a big fan of Kitty Pryde but I'm liking her here. I think Whedon, with his skills, could finally do Gambit some real justice. :)

From now on the term X-Men will always make me think "Blue Moose":D

I wish Wolverine would stay like he is now, I haven't laughed so much while reading a comic book in a long time! :) Fantastic.

Im confused I have a couple of questions this is my first issue of astonishing.#1 Isnt emma frost the white queen?#2 who or what is perfection?

It has been soooooooo hard not highlighting all the spoilers, I need this issue!
Tell me about it!
Tho I am pretty prud of myself for not readinbg who Perfection is yet... altho someone did spoil who destroys the Breakworld, but i'm not too miffed about that part......

From the kind of things people are saying about Perfection, I am getting an idea as to what to expect.... As soon as I wake up 2moro, I'm getting the tube str8 n2 town to pick up this issue.... the wait is killing me!

So has the whole Emma lobotomizing Scott thing been addressed? Can he now control his powers?

Not addressed yet. We still have 2 more issues in this arc.

I know, it feels like it should be done by now.

God, I loved this issue. The pages with Kitty just owning Emma, especially the shots through the mirror, were perfect.

As far as the Perfection revelation, I'm not completely sure that it's [blackout]Emma[/blackout]. If it is, then it's an old version of her, that's for sure. But, I'd like to bring up an idea that was floated about before, but wasn't completely taken too. That Perfection is her [blackout]Mummardri.[/blackout] It might explain how she is possibly more powerful than her counterpart, and possibly why Cassandra is hanging around her as well.

I'm also not really thinking that this whole thing is a construct of Emma's mind either. Too much physically has happened really for them to do that, I think.

And I thought it was a cool reveal that it was [blackout]Colossus[/blackout] who will destroy the Breakworld. An idea that would be right in front of our faces the whole time, but never really thought about until now.

Specter, you need to add some more spoiler tags to your post. That part where you mention a past theory still gives it away.

And dear god, what is up with you people who want to avoid spoilers, but insist of keeping up with this thread? If you don't want any spoilers, don't read a thread about this comic before you're up to date. I read Exiles, but I keep up with it in trade format, and I'm too broke to buy it. You know what I did? I stopped visiting the official Exiles thread.

Kitty rocks! Whedon's always been a fan of her. Besides, Gambit's a freaking drow now. He's no good to this title, unless you wanna see them kick his drow ass.

Also, who do you all think that Blindfold was talking to in her last scene? Do you think she could be the mole?

And, about the manager. With it's size and shape, it certainly seems big enough to possibly hold a body in it. Do you think that could be a big twist?

Well, mangers are typically used to hold animals (or in the case of Christianity, newborn messiahs). Something important is certainly being held in there. And whatever it is, it seems important to Emma's evil sides.

Since the common theory is that this is all in Emma's head, does anyone else think we'll see people important during the good guy turning points in Emma's life? Synch? Esme Cuckoo? One of the dead Hellions?

Maybe Blindfold was talking to the same person Carter was in the back of annie's car.

As for the manger, I think there's definately somebody in there.

In regards to the recent Perfection revelation...

Doesn't Emma have an older sister that also took that same alias of the White Queen?

I mean I do like the other theory of it all being in a certain someone's head, but just an idea. Any thoughts?

Or the actual white queen in the Hellfire Club. The one that had that long psi-battle with Rachel last year. I forget her name.

Emma had a card game with the new/current White Queen, Saturnyne. Rachel had a psi-battle with Selene, the Black Queen.
