The red lips really, really work well with Anne's fair complexion.

It's such a great look. Especially when she's in that black cat suit. The red really stands out. And I love her hair, too; the way it's tied up, and her goggles over her head; everything about the look is just so freakin' cool!

Not sure if this has been posted.

I agree.

I'm really glad they didnt go with her current comic book look.

OT: Joe Frazier just died.

I could really use Catwoman pics to cheer me up right now. :csad:

Oh, irony! Thy name is thee!

I'd shut my trap if I were you when coming to 'fanboyish' The Batman.

Now, the film. No one is hyping Bane. The character was created to be Batman's equal thus the hype is real. Bane isn't Tim Tebow or Brock Lesnar. His potential lies in the hands of writers. Therefore, he can far exceed his accomplishments from the 90s.

You can whine, b***h, pout, insult, etc but the fact is Christopher Nolan selected Bane for a legitimate reason. And judging from everything we've witnessed, Bane has surpassed The Joker and Ra's al Ghul as a villain in Nolan's Trilogy.

How you choose to accept this is your business, but don't come in here and try to proclaim that Bane 'fanboys' are making the character larger than life when the Nolans and Goyer have established Bane to be this incredibly powerful force that breaks the Bat.

A little bit overzealous.

God, that white "D" drives me insane :csad:.

But that's not your fault, elgato. Good manip .

That might have been the best quality set video I've seen.

I was just thinking, every vehicle from the previous shoots bar the HEMTT has been in MY.

Theres a reason the Nolans and Goyer chose Bane, over the other rogues. I'm sure they felt that he was one of the few (if only) that could possibly top the Joker, if properly utilized. If they were right remains to be seen.

I think they chose him for a different reason.

I think so too. He was definetely chosen for storyline reasons.

If anyone was brought in to try and "Top" joker, it was definetely Catwoman. But even then, she was probably brought in because of her place in the batuniverse.

Bane to me was the middle ground between smarts and strength (maybe super strength). He's also a misused character in the comics and a bit obscure to the public so they can tweak him a bit to suit the story.

I think they chose him for a different reason.

Which would be? Or does that remain to be seen?

The Batman said:

Obviously. He's the only villain I can imagine that could top the Joker in terms of physical or intellectual threat to Batman, as well as bring even larger scale destruction to Gotham.

well it's hard to top Joker in general, no matter what medium.

Which would be? Or does that remain to be seen?

I think the reason was twofold, in the heightened realism approach Nolan has taken Bane is easily adaptable into a militaristic terrorist which is a great fit with Nolan's Batman.

Secondly, after The Joker I think Riddler would have failed as a follow up mind**** villain, Penguin would seem like just a flamboyant gangster and while Nolan likes hi-tech Mr Freeze is probably too sci fi for his take.

So he had to look at a way to make the threat and challenge for Batman different as opposed to bigger, with Bane he brings military tactics and a physical threat Nolan's Batman has yet to face, providing a complete contrast to the threat The Joker posed thus avoiding any comparisons.
