I know there isn't anything to point towards a new suit besides our fanboy intuition but I just can't see them using a suit they designed way back in 2007 and plan on using that one suit for the entirety of their Batman finale. I refuse to believe that. I really believe we will get one but Nolan is hiding it from us and keeping a secret until he's forced to reveal it. Only time will tell...
 
I think it's for Marion but I could be wrong.

I hope so. There's still a lot to be shot and most will probably be inside the studio so there's still hope.

Gill did say that they shot a promo pic of Batman and I don't see why they would do a promo pic of him if he looks exactly like he did in TDK.

I hope so, and I just realized that we are already half way through filming !

True, He also said he heard they were also playing around with other designs for the suit.

Haha true. :oldrazz: But I'm thinking that they would need something catchy in that promo pic for the press. They can't even say "first look at Batman" if it's just him in his TDK suit. Unless of course the promo pic is him brooding on top of his new vehicle then I guess that's the buzz for the press.

To continue what some are saying I figure this will be Act 2, usually his big chase sequences are around that time frame anyways. So I think that we may get a new Bat-suit then, or when he does rise up against Bane who knows. I actually love/hate this deep secrecy, we know so little, but its kinda cool that way. More speculation but it has a double edged sword.

Agreed,It's like old times before the internet existed or was that big,only info you would get is trailers/footage from interviews and a few mag scans But not like it is now a days.....People have become too needy& impatient But I guess I'm like that too since I love me some spoilers lol!!!!
 
If Batman does get a new suit, I hope it combines the flexibility of the TDK suit with the animalistic qualities of the BB suit.
 
Hmmmm, I still think there's a good chance we'll get a new or modified suit.

Without a doubt, Batman will be defeated at some point in Act I or Act II. Don't think his back will be broken, but perhaps his suit will be -- establishing a metaphor. If Bane is the man we think he is in this film, he'll at least obliterate Batman's plates.

Here's hoping...

It'd be cool if he grabbed Batman by the throat and started to just rip them off one by one, exposing the "weak man" underneath.

With the scene involving [BLACKOUT]Talia stabbing Batman[/BLACKOUT], then it would be reasonable that Batman would want better armor.

YES! This is what I want Bane to do to Batman :awesome:

I want Batman to feel exposed and weak. What better way than to have his suit ripped to shreds by a much more stronger and physical presence? It's symbolic.

Agreed.

The TDK suit was created during the era of Harvey Dent and the Joker. Neither of them were threats to Batman physically. However, Bane and Talia (along with the LoS/Mercs) are experts in hand-to-hand combat. The tradeoff that Fox warned Bruce about could be greatly magnified during the first confrontation of this film.

That idea about Bane holding Batman up and ripping off his armor one-by-one is one of the best ideas I've ever heard.

Ugh, I know right? Now I'll be so disappointed if I don't see anything remotely close to that in film. It's so damn epic lol
