One day, DC will wise up and get Nguyen to paint an entire mini-series or graphic novel the way he does his covers.

Nguyen seriously should have been part of Batman: Europa, it would have boosted his recognizition even further, but yeah Dustin has some project up his sleeve with his buddy Derek, makes me wonder if hes part of one of the "Beyond" comics or something.

Not only does it look like a decorative wall piece from Joel Schumacher's bathroom, but Batman looks as if he is a bit desperate to be using the toilet, but is, y'know, being all stoic about it.

In all seriousness, that is the first time I have ever seen an artist actually try to recreate one of the terrible looking rubber suits from the movies in comic book artwork. I always thought they were generally regarded as a poor substitute for the artwork from the comics in that regard, so my mind is quite boggled that they would go for that angle with the artwork.

I'd like to get a better look at post-reboot Damian; I like that they gave him the black and yellow cape, and gave it the feathered look (always liked that), but it's not clear if he still has his hood. It would be a shame to lose that.

DC really should have just stuck with the costumes those costumes in the pictures. The costumes that Nightwing and Red Robin are getting are horrendous.

So glad that Cass is appearing in Gates of Gotham again. It's nice that dc is finally having a writer other than Adam Beechen write her

Because despite having some bad work done, he's written stuff people liked and continues to do so with Batman Beyond, i don't read it myself, but the reception has been positive and you can read Dread's reviews usually in the bought/thought topics.

I didn't care for the BB mini, but I've been hearing good things about the ongoing from my friend who's a huge BB fan.

I did check out the last issue on his recommendation; TERRY USED THE BATPOD.

I imagine they probably have a different perspective there. A bunch of fans (like me!) hating him for what he did to Character X is probably less important to them than him being a reliable creator who can turn in his work in a timely fashion and sell a reasonable number of books.

Don't get me wrong; it's a creative business and I'm sure telling good stories is important to them personally, but the business factors have to weigh in, and if Beechen is a solid worker that probably gives him a lot of points.

I guess thats fair enough. But none of his work has really impressed me either as well as the awful stories he wrote about Cass
