Ah yeah well remembered Sexton, he's a spirit healer and surgeon kinda guy. :p Yeah i mean #6 showed kinda like corporate crime and corporate crime fightning, is #7 showing us local community crime fightning and crime? :p Also Scott Snyder talks Batman #1 Relaunch:
- Dick's story isn't getting any changes, Snyder is telling the story he wanted and he feels despite Dick going back as Nightwing won't change the impact that he's telling, which is Dick settling in as Gotham's protector.
- He laughs how terrified he is about #1 so much that he had to ask Lemire, Daniel, Simone, Tomasi and others to just chekc his script and whatnot, you know he just wants to make sure he's on his A game.
- Daniel and Snyder are talking and making sure their plans won't collide with each other.
- He keeps reassuring that this isn't some reboot because of an upcoming movie or to make Batman more hip and cool, funny tho i gotta mention he doesn't dare to mention his mohawk Riddler with riddler tattoos. :p
- He feels Capullo was born to draw Gotham.

I cannot wait to see Snyder's take on Bruce, and hopefully the wider bat family aswell

Apparently this is an early look at Joker in Detective. He's taking the crowbar to Dick. The cut smile seems to be present, too.

Capullo's Joker has the glasglow smile too, i guess Snyder or his artists just love it? :p

Aw, I'm gonna miss his hair until we're far enough away from this relaunch that artists start ignoring his new look.

Haha haven't you seen Capullo's Joker? Here you go:

I bet you're loving the hair. :word::word:

Riddler also has a Questionmark Mohawk and questionmark tattoos on his head, story reasons behind it! :p

Oh, they explain it in the story? Well, clearly those design choices will be totally unimpeachable, then.

The Riddler got really drunk and Mr. Freeze dared him into doing it. Harvey tried to talk him out of it but Two-Face called Riddler a ***** if he didn't go through with it.

@Hippie_Hunter: Batman and Robin #11-16 begs to differ.

Morrison will probably write a year-long epic to explain that at some point. :)

@Hippie_Hunter: Batman and Robin #11-16 begs to differ.

Andy Clarke drew the Joker for only one panel in Batman vs. Robin to the point where it isn't that meaningful and Fraizer Irving's Joker was rather inconsistent in the Joker's features such as sometimes putting in the bullet scar on the Joker's forehead, forgetting it, forgetting the Joker's forked tongue, etc.

Tony Daniel and Frank Quitely on the other hand, stuck to Morrison's Batman #663 which had the Joker get a permanent Glasgow smile.

Batman Inc issue seven looks pretty fab :atp: looking forward to checking that one out this week its always good to see the Club of Heroes getting some love

Somebody mentioned before and I think it needs to be pointed out again.

With all the awesome tech in the DCU, why does Cyborg still have visible machine parts? Effin' Amazo looks more advanced than he does.

People in the DCU are racist. They won't help him upgrade his robot body :csad:

The question is, is it intended to be insane or is it insane because the guy writing it has lost his damn mind?

It's basically a Frank Miller situation. Which would explain Drz's undying luff for it.

The Oddysey is everything ASBR lacked the courage to be.

I can't remember a single panel with Joker having the bullet scar, it was in Frank Quitely's cover where he was sporting the R.I.P look. Frazen Irving didn't have the bulletscar at all. Daniel's Joker won't have the bulletscar either anymore, nor did he have it in Paul Cornell's run.

Check Irvings cover for issue 15 I think, he has a clear bullet scar there.

Oh yeah that variant cover, but in the actual issues he doesn't have that.

Joker also had the bullet and scarring (though both were fairly subtle) in his appearance during Cornell's Action Comics run (post-B&R 16).

It's just like anything; artists forget about these things, or maybe even deliberately choose not to use them, but they are what they are all the same. Joker has the scars, and that's pretty much that until everybody stops drawing them.

am I the only one who's craving a Chris Burnham drawn Joker?

I think it might be pretty neat. The Joker design looks okay and not too radically different from how he should look

The Riddler's mohawk is breaking my heart though :csad:

The Oddysey is everything ASBR lacked the courage to be.

And more

Sex hands Alfred is perhaps the greatest thing i have ever seen in a comic book. And Maniaco is the best hero/villain/Mexican to ever appear in a Batman comic
