Neither was MoS. Just making comparisons to the consensus [of each film] for '13 & '15
Man of Steel was a successful film. Fantastic Four is an outright critical and financial failure. Not a very apt comparison.
Bring on 2016 though, the CBM will rise again after losing their super powers this year a bit, I'm sure but I expect more from both Marvel and Fox I know they are capable of better.
Well, I can still remember a time when CBMs struggled to make a dent in the wider culture. A year like this year was truly unheard of. If 2015 is now considered to be a weaker year in terms of CBMs, then we are currently living in a VERY VERY GOOD era for CBMs.![]()
I can't believe people are voting Age of Ultron over Ant-Man.![]()
Least no one is voting for FF like a few people voting for TASM2 over TWS, DOFP or GOTG last year.
What do you mean you "can't believe"? Just like last year with GOTG, DOFP and Winter Solider these films were so close reception wise it just comes down to personal preference. A look at the general reception from audiences, fans and critics makes this pretty easy to believe.I can't believe people are voting Age of Ultron over Ant-Man.![]()
