Confirmd by the offical Dutch pathe cinema site, this third movie going to be 109 minutes. That is 1 houre and 49 minutes. This means that after 100-103 minutes the credits started.

IF thats true, then I am VERY dissapoined, thats far too short for a movie with this scope and premise.

actually, one of the most often and somewhat true critiques is that bay films are too long and self indulgent.

...this might be a very different type of film.
one of bays shortest probably.

short and sweet hopefully

^I just done see how we get so many new robots and more development of the existing ones with this run-time, especially with all the human characters.

This is a shocker, I mean just looking at the trailer you can see this has TONS of story and how there going to fit it all in will be interesting.

I thought that ROTF was a bit long in the tooth but I'm not sure if 109 mins is long enough.

Is that website a reliable source? I don't find it too likely that they'd know the run-time in advance like that.
If that is the case though, I'm rather disappointed.

I actually have my doubts that it's true, looking into it my self, but why would people be disappointed?

Almost every movie ever made could be tighter and thus a better experience, all things being equal I'd love to see a movie halve off it's "fat" scenes...(especially westerns)
That being said who knows what's happening here. Either way one can't possibly expect them to be be negotiating weather or not to edit out their expensive cg scenes...if it was shot it will be present.

Even dark knight could have benefited from being 20 or so minutes tighter. That being said I can't blame folks for wanting to spend as much time as possible with something they like.

makes sense, though I doubt even bay can say for certain at this point.

I think Bad Boys is the only Bay movie that isn't close to 2 hours or over.

My sources says it runs for 2 hours and 10 mins

Just like the previous movies I'm sure it'll be around the 2 hour mark. I don't see this being around an hour, especially it being the last from Bay.

Def. shorter than I expected.

This is a offical Dutch pathe cinema site. Pathe is the biggest cinema company who release movies in cinemas like Tusenski and City Theater.

The information there at on there website of course are send by the studio's them self or/and based on media screenings.

But official or not, of course also offical sites can make mistakes. I agree with the comment that mabey mean 149 minutes and not 1h49minutes. Because Dutch people must pay € 11,00 for a ticket, 109 be what short for a movie like this you expect atleast it be 136 minutes or something.

Transformers 1 - 144 minutes
Transformers 2 - 150 minutes

I bet whatever Dutch person read this thought 149 meant 1:49 and not 149 minutes. Rofl. This movie won't be 109 minutes.

Yeah...no way Bay does a film that's under 2 hours. That's just not his MO.

I can see it being this short, didnt bay say a while back that the last 45 minutes or so is all action anyway? Everyone knows there wont be a story here like the second one anyway. People want nonstop robot action and less human characters and there gonna get it.

movie needs to be finished at least 3 weeks before the movie opens. the movie comes out at the end of june.

so i think Bay in May knows how long TF3 will be. :yay:

the Tokio story that Bay was doing changes hours before going to the premiere is always told out of context.

For a big send off to the TF trilogy the audience expects at least more than 1hr 49 min.
