I amdit he's not a very powerful character but I like him and I just wanted him on my team.

I think Man-Thing has total potential to be a dark horse. When Hellstormer PMed me about three characters he wanted, Man-Thing included, I had to totally hold back not putting him as #1. If Hellstormer really studies up on the character and understands his strengths and weaknesses, he can take him to the final rounds.
