Finally, we've had three new explanation of rules determined by JH and myself.
1) Editting of posts should be for certain situations where there is only a foul up. (For example, I've done this twice. Once was when we were debating the incorrect character, Breakdown. The second time was when a rule was debated, and after a ruling, we made necessary changes to our previous debates after we received clarification.) Voters need to read the whole battle as a train of thought, and to add something a participant thinks of later to a pervious post isn't fair. If you think that editting of a post is needed, you must inform your opponent of the change. If either of you have questions about whether the change should be allowed, PM either JH or me.
2) After voting began, I've been noticing an increase in people using their votes to make a final comment about their characters and why they should win. To me, this hasn't been a big problem all season; but, it rings too much of trying to get in the last word, and we know people look at opinions in voting. So, for clarification, if it's your character, you are allowed only to make a vote; additional comments of a sentence or two are for the other voters to make. (The only time I've allowed anything different is if someone never put up a debate. I did allow DarkHellRider to make a two sentence reason for why his character would win a match. If this happens, you must get contact JH or me via PM before you do it.)
3) Finally, I believe I already mentioned this; but, in case I didn't, I'm going to possibly repeat myself. To be eligible for prizes (whether it's best or worst record), you must definitely partipate more than you don't participate. JH and I have discussed this, and feel that 80% participation isn't too hard to achieve. People with good records generally always participate, as you'll notice; so, this more applies to those who might be in contention for "worst record" at the end of Round 1 and the end of Round 2. Of course, Powderman has let us know he's not interested in participating this season, so his "worst record" at the end of Round 1 won't garner him a prize. I believe Trigger has already excluded herself from that prize, too. (I know she's busy with schooling.) If Trigger wishes to continue and schooling becomes a bit easier, then she would be eligible for prizes starting with Round 2.
