Yeah, I thought the same thing. I might go with Ares, simply for the fact that people with Mind Control usually get votes against them because of the nature of their abilities. Many hate characters that can possibly take a match without really having to do anything.

I think publicity will work in your favor with Ares as well. By that time he'll be in Mighty Avengers, and though that won't be the version you're using, it gets his name out there and more people will know what his character is about and capable of. I still need to read his mini.

All in all we had a potentially bad christmas and made it good for all the kids. I'm excited. Now I just can't wait to play X-Men Legends. I played it once for a few hours and have always wanted to play it again, and actually play it full out. Now I'll have the chance!

Probably soon enough, Ultimate Marvel will go down in price, especially the PS2 version. You'll love getting your hands on that, getting to play as Moon Knight or Deadpool. That's that type of game I used to dream about getting made when I was a kid.

Holy cow! That's some blizzard back east. Mile High just sent out an email saying they've closed down their stores. Then, at the end of the email, they said "They just announced on the TV that the Governor of Colorado has called out the National Guard to rescue stranded motorists on the Turnpike. I was darn lucky to have made it through..."

On the one hand, my pisspoor winnings make me glad that this contest will weed out my weaker characters for Round 2, where I get to go on an ownage streak. On the other hand, I'm just pissed I'm losing this much (especially when it's a good character like Gravity or Mercy). I did much better in the first season.

Mercy should have won that match. The only bigger travesty was Gamora getting knocked out in the first round two seasons in a row by lesser characters. I think JH used mind tricks!!!
