If it doesn't conflict with anyone, why not just postpone Ahura's match for a week? As long as it won't make the owners too busy, we would just have one less match to debate/read this week, and one extra match the next. And then, Ahura could debate the character himself.

Even though there aren't any real last minute debating currently going on, I'm going to let the debating continue until at least 12:00 pm pacific time, just in case someone is planning on rebutting any arguments. If we do get more rebuttals, I'm willing to let debating continue for a while longer this week. I know Hippy is still MIA, and he might be hoping to get a quick one in.

I know I've been MIA from the Hype the past couple of months due to lack of a computer, but all is fixed and working now.

It's good to see that the CoM II is still going on strong. Still looking forward to taking on the winner of the second tourny if they're up for it.

Thought this might be the area to bring this up. Has anyone got the DK publishing MArvel Encyclopedia? If you haven't don't way too many errors even for DK! According to them Prodigy III first appeared in Captain AMerica COmics #1 (1941), I'm serious go look now.

Does anyone know if Trigger is going to come back and play? I think I heard that she was really busy so that's why she hasn't been around, but are her characters going to be divided up as well?

If she doesn't come back soon, though I like her a lot and I'd hate to do it, I may just call to have her characters divied up (with Phaed's approval, and hopefully hers as well). She's an awsome competator, but if she's not able to be around to defend her characters, then they're better in someone elses hands. Hopefully she'll be back though.

The challenge was to make a poster, turning the posters of your tribe into superheroes. We had to create bios and everything. I'm the guy in the chair, Colossal Spoons is the big black guy, and AndthePickles is the water chick. My guy's power was to bring his writings into life (thus creating the other two) so that they can do the things that he can never do, be heroes. I called myself Scribe. Spoons is Black Lightning and Pickles was something like Aquafina or something, I don't remember.

Unfortunately, Spoons and Pickles decided to go with another option that was more comicbooky and we lost. It was sad.

"Black Lightening" sounds a little cliche... besides... looks more like flame. maybe "Black Burn"?

Ok, I need a little assistance from JH or Wiegeabo, plus I need DarkHellRider to make a decision.

First, about two weeks ago I showed all the tallies and everyone's upcoming matches, totalled all of it up, and noticed that three participants didn't come up with totals of 32: DarkHellRider, Powderman, and Ahura Mazda. Ahura Mazda is ok, because I just neglected to count one of his upcoming matches; he's got 32. I still came up with 33 for DarkHellRider and 31 for Powderman.

What happened is we have two characters with very similiar names: Basilisk and Basilist. Basilist belonged to Powderman and Basilisk belonged to Ahura. Basilist has fought in Bracket 4 already, and Ahura defended him successfully against Washout. Basilisk hasn't fought yet. So, here is what I need:

There are 5 different Marvel versions of Basilisk: Arch Demon, Hellbent Member, Mutant killed by Xorn, Robot who fought Power Pack and Cloak and Dagger, and Wayne Gifford who fought Morbius. If JH or Wiegeabo can remember which version we wanted, it would help. I looked under character list, and it doesn't help me. He's under Miscellaneous Characters.

I need DarkHellRider to make a decision. He can switch characters, he can give up a win by giving up Basilist, or he can have both characters and not be included in the giving out of characters who have advanced to Round 2. Now, Basilisk is in Bracket 6 and will be facing Purple Man. It's a tough match. If DarkHellRider wants my opinion, I'd switch characters (as he's already made one advance, and a win is a win. Like football, don't take away points) and then he can still possibly get a powerful character in the "left-overs" draft.
