We allow someone to do half CoM. You basically get half the line up you'd normally get (that way you have half the matches). The bad part though is that you aren't eligable for prizes (as your percentages would be differant). If you can get a partner in the DTL to work with, you could make it happen.

I'm assuming W's going to start up another version soon?

I'll finish COM II with the full selection. I'm not really doing it for the prizes so I'm quite happy to give that up next time. I want to be involved in both competitions if possible so I'll get to work on looking for a partner before it starts.

btw is anyone from here likely to be involved in the next DTL?

If I somehow have time, I wouldn't mind it, but I doubt it. W will probably be running it I assume (assuming he does start it up again). Primemover whose asking to play used to be involved, so I'm guessing that he might. Other than that I'm not sure. I can't remember if Darthphere used to play the DTL or not. We'll see where I'm at when and if the next season of us and them start... I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. I've been playing CoM and Survivor side by side quite a bit lately, so I'm getting used to the workload. Of coarse, my book's getting behind.... darn life. If only I could be a bum and stay home all day and never work and never feed my kids. Life would be swell.

The RPG's were fun too. I've only played in the main Marvel one but I loved it. First time out during season 2 I played as Multiple Man and had this huge mystery storyline. I liked it so much that I copied it over and saved all of it as a file on my computer. Season 4 I came back as The Shocker and had fun with him too. He was one of Thanos' generals during a world invasion. Good stuff.

I've been going through my comics and noticed that I have LOADS of duplicate books. They're all from the last 8-9 months and are pretty much all marvel books (I also have three copies of every issue of "the boys" so far, I WILL NOT LET THIS BOOK DIE!)

I'm going to stick them on e-bay over the weekend but I thought I'd give my fellow COM contestants have first shot at them so if you're missing any issues from the last 8-9 months pm me and I'll send you the list

It's more about experience from the first season, I believe. But, I have JH breathing down my butt now. (Insert Hot Tub remark here.)

Anyway, I've gotten 10 answers regarding the question so far that I PMed. I figure I should let you guys know which characters are left from Trigger and Powderman. Here is the list:

Bracket 1: Black Knight and Psylocke

Bracket 4: Mysterio and Lord Templar

Bracket 5: None

Bracket 6: Wrecker, Bi-Beast, and Kylun

Bracket 7: Polaris and Meggan(although, Trigger wanted Zaladane to advance)

There are still 17 characters left in Round 1 with matches, and from that list, one will definitely advance (head to head comp.) and I see about only 1 or 2 more that might get through. The best is Stryfe, of course. Most of the rest are really bad characters that AnnoyingSilence got stuck with, since he didn't turn in a list.
