Yo Rez, i think anything movie related should be put in spoilers tags.....

But yeah, personally I loved the movie up until....*MAJOR SPOILERS* *IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE HAVE PATIENCE AND DON'T CLICK*

[blackout]The Harry/Peter "team up" near the end. I thought it was just out of character for Harry. I mean, he was a great villain and all of a sudden he's buddy buddy again. Lame. It would have been better if he helped Peter but still hated him only to be vindicated by saving MJ and Pete at the last second.

However, I noticed the Clone Saga tie in stuff as well. Accidentally hitting MJ in his rage, Harry impaled by Glider, when MJ and Peter are over Harry's dead body immediately after he dies and there's a shot over the sunset (it reminds me of the last page of Revelations), Peter's dark side reminded me a little of "I Am the Spider", the whole "duality" aspect of fighting Venom (two spideys on screen!), heck even the Sandman plot with his daughter made me think of Jessica Carradine (her dad killed Uncle Ben and she loved him).[/blackout]

Anyways, I loved the movie and thought that the the bulk of the movie was masterfully written and weaved together except for the part I mentioned in the spoilers. Kinda irked me.

Actually if I remember right there was a time in the comics where Harry played hero as Gobby an' teamed-up with Spidey. It was a time before his death.

He doesn't think that. You've got to read what he says more closely in interviews. He says that HE doesn't like the marriage. He never claimed that because other people would rather they split up. First off, they aren't going to split up because he would have done that years back in the beginning of JMS' run. And I don't think she's going to die because all that Quesada talks about is the fact that he doesn't want to age Peter Parker anymore. He didn't want to make the Gwen Stacy twins Peter's because him being a father would age him in the eye of the public. And if you KILL MJ then you're going to basically be aging him just as much, by making him a widower.

So, how do you take out the marriage without aging Peter Parker? Well, I guess we'll all find out in One More Day.

And to stay on topic with the Clone Saga and related news. I'm seriously about to pitch Marvel an idea about an Untold Tales of Spider-Man series and have it focus on the adventures of Ben Reilly. I'd buy it.

Yes its me and yes I'm still alive. Its been a while since I posted here (as I was off on the worlds longest bender and than subsequently thrust onto a seemingly never ending world tour. Anyway, I probably wont be posting much, as I'm trying to wring out some more excitement and suspense in my comic reading and phasing out MB's and spoilers seems to be doing the trick, however I will drop you guys a line every now and than especially on the Ebay side of things as I'm making a killing on the Uncanny X-Men market(I only need a few scattered Byrne's and sketch variants to finish the Second Genesis onward) and am seeing quite a few Clone Saga deals.
