Hey ya gang, found some new prop pics of some of Nite Owl's gadgets and so far they look only amazing; and I figure with the realease of these pics I figure why not keep the spirit of Watchmen flowing and have an open discussion to talk about Nite Owl's toys from both the comics and the upcomming movie. But anywho, without any further to due, here's a taste of what us geeks will be gettin' a chance to see in the movie so far. :woot:

Wait a second, let me get this straight: is there really speculation that Nite Owl kills Adrian with an Owl rang or am I comprehending false logic? :wow:
Well, nowhere in the graphic novel does Dan use a Owlrang to kill anybody, especially one like that which looks like it was made for the sole purpose of killing people.
He has an Owl-Rang that can kill people which was never in the graphic novel, but such did exist in the script in which he used said Owl-Rang to kill Oz.
Yep, the logic you are comprehending is, in point of fact, correct.

It was in a previous version of the script. It is NOT in the current version of the script. I mean, it's simple logic. How can Dan kill Adrien with an Owl rang if Adrian does, in fact, not die?

My uncle has something like that very first one posted.

Why he simples skips over to the Lazurus Pit that he won off of Ras al Ghul in a hot hand of dice.

And we all used our flats for a MMO with strippers of all nationalities...

What are you talking about?

I got pics of a few props I saw @ SDCC08, I'll post tomorrow.

A question in which is not my place to ask; however I couldn't agree with you two anymore. And why would Nite Owl use an owl rang in the first place? There was nothing of the sort or anything in the story; he mainly just used his tracking device, Archie, and his lazer pointer. *Hurm* Perhaps he uses it for some street thugs or some events like when he's in the ally with Comedian or teamin' up with Rorschach to take down Big Figure or during the jail scene. *strokes chin* :brucebat:

My guess is it's used during the extended prison riot fight scene. That, or maybe it's for the video game.

Still, it's clearly marked Shuriken on the concept art, which is really rather different from a boomerang-type weapon like the OWL-WING that kills Adrien in the Hayter script. Not that boomerangs work THAT effectively, but I could never see the above type weapon working like it did in that script, just from experience with similar weapons.

Here is another pic from SDCC08 I took of the prototype.
