May as well base it on the current comic storyline.

-Harley.
-Ivy.
-Catwoman.
-Batgirl.
-Huntress.
-Black Canary.
-Katana.

And maybe:

-Batwoman.

-Harley.
-Ivy.
-Catwoman.
-Batgirl.
-Huntress.
-Black Canary.
-Katana.

And maybe:

-Batwoman.

All of those would be cool (and the ones other than Batwoman seem like the most likely candidates).

Catwoman... Catwoman... Catwoman.... That's all I want.

The Batman mythology has officially become the crutch of the DCEU.

Why Batgirl? Shes the only one I question there.

Well, it'll pass the bechdel test unless they're all just discussing Batman.

I'm immediately more interested in this than any other upcoming DC film other than Suicide Squad.

It's basically gonna be a Gotham Sirens flick.

Not surprised they're doing this. Harley Quinn's popularity is growing more & more. She's such a viable character that there's so much they can do with her without involving Batman or Joker.

Can't wait to see what they come up with. :D

Harley is more popular than some people think:

Sources say that Robbie was the impetus for the project, adding that when she got the part for the movie, she dove deep into the comics to learn as much as possible about the character. In the process, she fell for DC’s female characters. She brought on the writer to help develop the project and brought it to Warners, which snapped it up.

A Quinn-centered movie is a no-brainer for Warners. The character was created by writer Paul Dini and was initially a sidekick and girlfriend to the Joker. But to the surprise of many, she caught the imagination of fans, who have propelled her to star status. While she may not have the stature and deep roots of DC's Wonder Woman, Quinn's books outsell the Amazonian's and her merchandise is also a top seller.

Hopefully it will happen, DC has plenty of interesting female characters to make some pretty cool movies.

Go with what works I guess. Robbie is clearly going to be a hit as Harley. I still think she's at her best with the Joker though so I hope Leto has a role in this.

Poison Ivy better be somewhere in there.

OMG. Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

You gotta love Robbie's enthusiasm. They'd better change her costume though, I doubt she'd want to wear that uncomfortable and lazy crap for yet another movie. Especially because this time around it's her movie.

Regarding the supporting cast, Poison Ivy should be a no brainer. Also, this is a perfect excuse to not kill Katana in SS.

Let's be real here though. This movie is never going to happen, is it. :o

Hmm, could correlate with the Birds of Prey rumours from a year back.

Hmmm a mash up of Birds of Prey and Gotham City Sirens perhaps? okay I'm interested now. But I hope they dont get carried away and cram every single DC female in to this, stick to the basics. Harley, Ivy, Batgirl and Catwoman should be more than enough, maybe Canary as well.

This is more intriguing to me than every supposedly planned DC movie from next year and onwards save Aquaman. Still wondering how Cyborg got his own movie lol.

Lauren Cohan for Catwoman:

It also helps with my Batman x Martha Wayne fan fiction.

This is exciting ****ing news

So many great characters to choose from

I want Harley, Ivy, Batgirl and Catwoman to get the focus

I say just make it kind of a crime caper flick, where they're all trying to stop each other and have to team up at points, double cross each other, and what not. The thing is though that usually all of them end up using the swag they steal to help someone lesser in need but still keep a little for themselves.

I'd imagine this would be some sort of chase between the villains (Harley & Ivy, maybe Catwoman) going up against the Birds of Prey (Batgirl, Black Canary, not sure who else). They'll probably have to team up at some point as well.

Smart move by DC/WB. Marvel is kicking their ass in every aspect of film franchises, with one exception: female characters. They're pretty much tied in that now, which is not a good statement on Marvel since they've got 13 films out already. DC is leaning into one of their few positives right now.
