I dont know how many of you remember or even know about the brief stint of Phil Urich as the Green Goblin, but he RAWKED. He found one of Harry's old Goblin hideouts, with updated weapons and technology and used it to save his Uncle Ben Urich. After that, he used the Goblin outfit and glider to "sky skate" around New York, having fun and not being a hero or a villian. Of course, he would always see a crime in progress and would reluctantly go stop it. He was always a little like Peter Parker in that he was kind of dorky and pining after a chick that he couldnt talk to at the Daily Bugle (where we were always treated to an extra dose of JJJ's ranting and raving :D).

The series only lasted 13 issues, but its one of the great things to come out of the 90's.

I wish Phil wa sin more comics he looks and is rather cool :)

A-f***ing-men, dude. His time was far too brief. At least we can see him in Spider-Girl, but its really not the same.

Why? Besides the "We've already seen him " s@<<()" I'm intrested I hoping he'll be in it
For the simple reason that we've already seen GG in S-M1 & Marvel/Sony would be hard pressed to shift any merchendise that involves a charactor whihc they'd already used a few years back. If anything we'll get Hobgoblin. At least they will be able to market him as a 'new' product!

HobGoblin products would be a bit like GG products. But still they would be great!

I can imagine a HG product with HG on his Gldier. It would be cool :D

Yes, a thread for the Green Goblin! Heh, he's actually my favorite out of the whole Spider-Man mythos, but only the original Norman Osborn. Harry was fine I suppose, but Norman Osborn is and always will be the one true Green Goblin to me.

Anyway, there's this website called spideykicksbutt.com, and it has one section entirely devoted to indepth Green Goblin articles, and some reference to him seems to always creep into the other articles as well; madgoblin is a fan of him too, so the attention to him should be expected. :) It's one of my most favorite websites, and I highly recommend it to Green Goblin fans and general Spidey fans alike.

Someone should post some animation from the 90's TV show.

I wonder if GG(the poster) would mind me taking one from his site.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I love that first image. Perfect intro for GG to the series.

Spidey: "Ok Hobgob...Hey, you're not the Hobgoblin...."
GG: "How observant you are. No, I'm not the Hobgoblin. Better! I'm THE GREEN GOBLIN!.....Not that you'll live long enough for it to matter...."
