Steve Ditko's and John Romita Sr's green Goblin is my #1 favorite. I also really love Ross Andru's green Goblin.

I dont know anything about the Green Goblin drink but the Hobgoblin beer was bitter as hell. It was an English beer, and that seems to be the way Brit beers are, in my experience. Then again, you might like that.

Haha yeah I come from Britain...but I prefer Whiskey and spirits to Beer/ale....

I like the suit better than the mask.. what was the point of the mask, anyway..? To frighten the enemies..? I don't remember anything from the scene where it was introduced, perhaps they did say something about it.. It's been YEARS since I saw that movie..

I'm the opposite; I love the mask a lot more than the suit. The armor's okay, but it's not my favorite costume ever.

The mask is the interesting part, imo. And I dont mean that in a good or bad way. It can look really cool, and other times it bugs the hell out of me.

For example, the above pic. Good.
The brief shot of Gobby firing on Spidey as he runs away during the World Unity Festival. Good.
The look as Gobby is singing Itsy Bitsy Spider. Good.

The "scare" as the Goblin screams at the audience in Peter's dream when he visits May in the hospital. Not good.
When he looks down from the bridge and sees Spidey caught MJ and the kids. Not good.

I just think they went overboard with the full on comic book super villain aspect. I would have liked him to be more of a subtle, cunning psychopath.

The movie costume is good, but would've been better if it had been the original costume. I do like how elements from the comic costume are there, the way they sort of have a hood in the armor going to a tip, and I do like the retractable eyes. 8)
