These are IMO best work that Ditko and Stan did. ASM 16-39 is just mindbreaking. And the best story is IMO two-parter with Goblin and Crime-Master.

cute..lol..zap.. I thought we were making sounds

I can/could kill Humberto's Ramos style. His designs are too easy, because either he's lazy and doesn't like details. Or maybe he feels too many lines will hurt his work. I think (and hope its the latter) Not the case always...but he does take ALOT of short cuts compared to other artists.

I never cared for Ramos's art either.

I remember there was an action figure modeled on Ramos' Spidey. There was some kind of harness that was supposed to attach at the wrist & it couldn't fit over those enormous hands.
And I hate eht way he draws the lenses. He makes SPidey look like Deadpool. And don't ge tme started on facial features. Ugh.

I hate to say it but Spectacular Spider-Man vol 2 was really a disaster. Between Ramos' art, Jenkins' constant continuity errors, bad plots and late shipping....yech.

Refresh my memory-what constant continuity errors? And let's not forget the horrible "Disassembled" tie-in, which served only to make "The Other" more intolerable than it already was.

I cant remember offhand, but it was mostly from The Lizard's Tale. And yes, Disassembled was a slap in the face.

Oh-when it said that the Lizard knew Peter was Spider-Man, & that he'd been in control all this time?

That, and that Connors was from Louisiana and not Florida and that Martha had died. (Which I guess is fair, since she died in the Quality of Life one shot. Most people just saw that as out of continuity.) Also, the Morbius story had him looking like Nosferatu (which I admit was pretty cool, just very out of left field).

Too many pages to go back and see what has and hasn't been posted. But this is my favorite GG picture. I love how it looks like the movie and classic GG mixed.

I always liked how the Green Goblin was so bent on taking over the underworld. It just seemed so fitting.

Personally, I wonder if he even cares about that anymore. His desire to be king of the mobs seems to have been totally replaced by his sadistic fascination with Spider-Man. If Peter were to die, what would Norman do with himself?
