kinda out of left field, but i'd like emile hirsch as hal.[/quote

I like Hirsch but I think Speed Racer sank him for quite awhile! major studios are going to avoid him like the plague! This might also sink Fox as well!

kinda off topic, but still awesome, even if some liberties were taken on the suit. :D

i hope its more along the tone of iron man, i don't think an ultra dark green lantern would work like it did for TDK.

A Star Wars meets Serenity (the sort of gritty sci-fi feel. These are space cops after all) feel would defnitely work for this movie.

If it's based more on earth though then...well, I'm still sticking to my Serenity comparison. :p Though some Superman 2 would be good.

David Boreanaz---Hal Jordan

elijah wood? he's like 5 foot nothing. not very heroic. and why have all 4 in one movie?

Chris Evans looks like Kyle Rayner to me. It seems like his days as the Human Torch are over.

Guy Gardner gets a cameo in GL1. Guy Should be in GL2 with John Stewart. GL3 should have Gardner, Stewart, and Rayner.

They should wait a few years after Hal's trilogy ends then make Kyle the star for a new trilogy.

Now where did I hear that from?

You're 5 foot nothin', 100 and nothin', and you have barely a speck of athletic ability. And you hung in there with the best college football players in the land for 2 years. And you're gonna walk outta here with a degree from the University of Notre Dame. In this life, you don't have to prove nothin' to nobody but yourself. And after what you've gone through, if you haven't done that by now, it ain't gonna never happen. Now go on back

I'm thinking of Sam Jackson when he was in Star Wars, the calm gentle voice, not his "We've got to get these mother f$%king snakes off this mother f$%king plane" voice.

interesting what about Dennis Haysbert(24)and allstate commercials

He's way too subdued, plus he's the perfect Booster Gold.

I always thought if they remade Greatest American Hero he would make a great Ralph Hinkley alongside Clooney as Maxwell. Maybe Stiffler as Guy would work. :word:

Star Wars-meets-Serentiy style may work.

The CSI guy? He has a Texas accent. I guess he can get rid of it though. I can. But his face seems a little.... I don't know...

Shaped like Grimace?

Still beating the drum for Ben Browder as Hal

i' ve always felt that the actor to play hal should exude badassery. i mean you should look at him and think, that guy is a bad ass. if this movie was made 20 years ago harrison ford would have been perfect, from current movies who gives off that vibe??? who would you follow into battle wihtout even questioning him??

I've always said Firefly was basically Star Wars if Han Solo was the main character. So Nathan Fillion, i'd say, fits that perfectly.

I never thought of Chris Evans before. Interesting choice. He might work even as Hal Jordan if they wanted a younger actor who could progress through a trilogy, which might take nine years to make with the usual gaps between films. Evans is just 27, Boreanaz is 39.

Huh...Evans really would work as Hal if he grew his hair out long enough (I'm used to seeing him with a buzzcut).

But jesus christ, was his presence felt as the Human Torch. He'd have to really become Hal to seperate the two in people's minds (both being sort of arrogant/confident flyboys and all. Just that one is more mature than the other).

Attention Green Lantern-ites, I am doing a Green Lantern artwork design and require some expert advice as I'm am not as well versed in the GL mythology as I am with other DC characters. I does the Green Lanterns mask having any significant practicality or functionality other than hiding identity? Thank you.

Nope, just a simple mask

Still Ben Browder for Hal
