Well now I am excited about this movie like I was a year ago when they started filming. The footage was well put together.

Now we don't have to worry about waiting for the next trailer. It's only a month away anyway.

I know plenty about Thor and Cap'n. I am looking forward to both. Neither of them look like this. They just don't. There is no GI Joe or Masters of the Universe vibe. This feels like something new.

The only problem I see, outside my reservations about the two leads, is Hector looks like he is in the wrong film.

The ONLY complaint I have is the mask. It still "looks" CGI-ed onto his face. (I think the actual suit looks very good.) But scenes-wise, I liked that very much. Looking forward to June 17th.

I'm glad we finally get an actual full lingering shot of what one of the constructs looks like as opposed to just the giant fist. It's solid, yet still has that aura around it similar to the Tron stuff almost.

I noticed that Parallax has aliens inside of that cloud, trying to escape, or attack perhaps? Nice, i like it.

Also, can someone cap Hal as he transforms towards the end by putting his fists together?

Yeah? And until now Green Lantern had a distinct Fantastic Four vibe about it.

Every single film that will be released this year has shifted from being the worst looking to the best looking.

There was a "Tales of Krypton" story where Tomar-Re was sent to Krypton to alert the parents of Kal-El that their son could be the greatest Green Lantern of them all, but he was blinded by a star going supernova and got to Krypton after it exploded.

Not the thread for this, but the scenes with Hayley Atwell, very Indy. The scenes with Cap'n in his suit, very GI Joe. Think it is the villains mixed with the weird lighting.

What blows me away by the GL footage, is how original it feels, but not exactly. This may sound weird, but it has a little of what I liked about Superman Returns about it. Everything has size and scope, with the right amount of otherworldly to it.

I have never read a single GL comic, and barely know anything about the character.

With that being said, my expectations for the film have been raised. Very impressive and it looks like it will be an epic experience. Abin-Sur looks like a very cool character.

At most, they look like "trapped souls" or something. Or just more evil.
