Thumbs up for both opinions. Its something what is recorrent, but the fans are little blind about all this. I have hear many more people pointing the same old problems in Marvel Studios movies in Thor (exemple: hold the potencial, to fast to tell the history, not goind deep in right aspects, etc.)

I feel like some people didn't like the first trailer and made up their minds early up that they were going to hate the whole movie. I keep seeing comments that GL looks campy, goofy, etc., and that makes no sense to me. I don't see how anyone could watch the second trailer and not see an epic story.

Maybe they didn't watch the second trailer or the Wondercon Footage then.

No, they were commenting on the newest trailer, which confuses me, like I said.

I really want to know what the haters exactly have against the movie. A while ago I heard someone assuming that Warner Brothers is intentionally trying to put as many characters in the movie as possible, they also assumed that Warner Brothers is only relying on the Green Lantern fan base so they could make money. It's pretty damn obvious that the movie is a mix of numerous and different genres.

Has the power ring in the comics ever been revealed in it's semi-sentient computer form?

^I was planning on spreading that information until I changed my mind. Hopefully something cool materializes because of it.

Thor was.. satisfactory, but not great. The GL movie will show to audiences what the word EPIC means to be.

Thor is the best Marvel studios movie IMO. GL will definitely be more epic. I still think X-Men First Class might surprise us all and be the best superhero movie this year though.

I'm expecting X-Men: First Class to be a okay comic book movie at worst and at best.

That's the vibe I'm getting also.

I don't get why someone would utilize certain words that are negative when they are describing a movie that they are looking forward to, if they do it when they are providing their review on some movie then fine. But when they haven't seen the whole movie, well, they just seem to make themselves come off as trying to dislike the movie despite actually liking what it has to offer. At times, there are scenarios like that that don't end up working for me, I guess that you could say that it's a quirky gripe in my mind.

I don't expect anything above sub-par from a fox studios x-men movie. Even the lauded first two movies were bad.

Matter of opinion.

And a bad one, at that. :o

At best and at worst, I think that the first and second X-Men movie are okay. I have always disliked how Jean Gray looked in the X-Men movies and how Sabretooth looked in the first X-Men movie.

Thor goes deep at the right aspects. Undoubtedly. The relationship between Thor, Loki and Odin is faultless.

Don't make decisions for fans. No one is blind to anything. Your DC bias is shining through, i'm afraid.

Anyways, I finally saw Green Lantern tv spots in my area.

I'm pretty sure the comic book movie windfall we've been experiencing for the last decade or so pretty much started because of the first X-Men movie.

Pretty big achievement for a sub-par movie.:o

A piece of entertainment doesn't have to be good to be influential.

...actually, spider-man is more responsible for that than x-men. X1's influence on comic movies is heavily overrated, as much as I like that film. It was Spider-Man's massive success that truly opened the floodgates.

Silly little DC fanboys, is what it is. And before anyone says i'm a Marvel fanboy, i actually read more DC comics than Marvel. And as you can see by my avatar, my favourite ever comic book series and character is DC.

^ So basically....you're a "silly little DC fanboy" too.

Good to know.

Not really. I'm not saying things like "Marvel fans are blind to how mediocre their films are". I mean what the **** is that? It cements the stereotype that comic book fans, particularly those with the whole DC vs Marvel thing going on, are pathetic and need to grow up.

It's fiction at the end of the day. FICTION. Having some kind of bias towards one FICTIONAL universe is just... it's really quite sad.
