I didn't see the trailer when I saw Thor. And I went to a popular Regal that has 30 screens
I'm gonna play Devil's advocate: let's say GL is a bad film.
This is probably why DC and WB are so damn quiet. When's the last time we have heard from the new DC president? It's okay to be quiet but this is too quiet. Keep in mind that Nolan is governing his on films, so DC Entertainment aren't directly involved with Bats and Supes.
Can you do it from the angle of the opposite of Devil's advocate?
yes Nolan has final cut and control. but just because he has a lot of freedom to make the movie that doesnt mean that WB is not watching him. they are looking where the money is going and they will be watching the editing.I'm gonna play Devil's advocate: let's say GL is a bad film.

i look at DC Entertainment as smart business men. Kevin on the other hand is a car salesman. good for him to sell a lot of s.... . but i am not buying it.DC Enertainment as a whole seems to be a none entity since it's creation almost a year ago. Kevin has to be vocal because he runs a fairly new studio and is very fan friendly.

i can not respect a studio who's main and only interest is to connect characters in the same universum.when they will start focusing on seperate movies then we can talk .right now they are kids playing with toys. Not saying that he has a perfect track record (Iron Man 2, being cheap) but so far as a whole.. he has been successful and his movies are making money. He's just very aggressive.
Oh come on. If you're a Catwoman fan, were you supposed to fake liking the movie even though you knew what the end result was going to be?
How did you guys see the GL trailer and I didn't? I must need to see Thor at a different theater or something.
i think you have a problem with the design and not the quality of CGI. a good design can make CGI look good.
Why does the CGI look so terrible for this movie? For a big budget flick in 2011, it looks atrocious.
Because somebody told you that the film would be CGI and that's not what you wanted maybe?
It wasn't that bad (not as bad as a lot of folks on this website want to make it out to be). My kid like it and still watch it from time to time. I think a lot of folks have intimidated people into saying that the film was absolutely horrible for fear of being ridiculed. Like I said before, my brother saw the Green Lantern trailer in IMAX 3D. I don't know what everybody else saw nor where they saw it, but I do know some folks that saw the trailer.
WETA and ILM couldnt make the exact shot from Oah look more real. but they would tell WB and Cambell to aproach it different. lighting,colors,.....I think 'the designs are fine but I think WEta or Ilm would have done a better job. But that's a moot point now.
To each their own, but I'm guessing your kid will have a different opinion of Catwoman when he gets older. I know I did on a number of films I used like...
