Who should play the part of Superman's loveable canine companion?

My suggestion is Mudball (Space Buddies, various commercials).

He's young (nearly one) but he can grow into the role for franchise potential. He's American. He works well with other actors and he has experience with action films and a great thespian. At 23 inches, he's exactly the right height for the role because we all know height is important in movies.

I'm debating if they would want to use subtitles for his barks or should they look at using thought balloons right on the scrren...hmm. Ceratinly hope his bark dosen't reveal any foreign accent - but then again if its an American born dog I guess that won't be a problem.

I wouldn't mined him there as an easter egg in the film. Just have Clark on the farm playing fetch with a white lab. A young Clark throws the stick easy a couple of times the n on the last throw he throws it high a far. Krypto runs after it and takes off flying to the stick and comes back wagging his tail. Clark pats his head and sale good boy Krypto now lets go see what Ma's made for dinner.

I hope they launch a nationwide search of all breeders and shelters to find the perfect Krypto. I don't want to see Krypto and think, "Oh hey, it's that dog from Marley & Me." There has to be a dog out there that we just haven't thought of yet. Hopefully, it'll be an unknown, but I know that once they cast Krypto, there will be some people who will say theyre going to boycott the movie because their favorite dog didn't get the role. Those people are idiots and probably not real Krypto fans.

No way! Mudball's jaw is nowhere near square enough to be a convincing Krypto. If Mudball gets the part I boycott the movie!

I honestly want a Krypto cameo. Doesn't even have to be an actual super powered dog, just a white dog with a cape around his neck at the Fortress.
