I get not wanting to name the character Andrea Beaumont if you’re trying to preserve a Phantasm reveal, so I guess I could see Vicki Vale.

But I think if Scarlett Johansson is the female lead and there’s a mysterious antithetical version of Batman running around, we’ll connect the dots pretty quickly.

Just don’t use the name Lady Arkham lol

After the plot of the first one was clearly inspired by Episode 1 "Hi Diddle Riddle" where Riddler lets himself get arrested, to frame Batman. And the ridiculous La Rata Alada riddle.

Hey, that would only be appropriate after the slightly exhausting two hours of the first movie where everyone but the hero is able to unmask the “rat” as soon as the character is introduced...

No, but seriously, I agree with you.
And if Reeves and Tomlin really do go for a character like Phantasm, Lady Arkham, or a mix of the two, I guess it's not absolutely necessary to treat it as a plot twist.
If anything, I hope this character will serve to flesh out and actually use that exposition dump about Martha's past from the Riddler's video to Bruce...
