I think one of the funniest parts of the movie was, Jack in Davey Jones Locker. t: Dress up as a pirate, stand in the middle of the dessert, and take mind altering drugs. t: The whole movie was like watching your neighbors have kinky sex. You're never sure what's going on, and the funny parts are really funny, and the exciting parts are very exciting.

I thought Jack in Davy's locker was weird but good. However, I wish they wouldn't have used the multiple Jacks during the movie. It got old really quick.

If in fact I am wrong I will gladly admit it when the trailers come out but you can be sure of one thing there will be no shame I can deal with being wrong it's part of life everyone is wrong in their life once in awhile even the great SHH has been wrong a couple times. Good luck with the fridge you won't find much I can't even raid it with positive results.

Past 350? I don't know... as I said I think it will make it there, definitely, even if it has to crawl because I've seen SR crawl a further distance- and believe me, there was a time that I had just given up hope on that film reaching 200 mil.

People said the same about 200 mil for SR. I saw it crawl it's way there for a 150, I believe. Because after multiplex, you got cineplex, and then low rent price theaters. I don't know for sure, but after giving up on SR myself, in my opinion, anything is possible.

Whatever man but just keep in mind simply because one movie did it does not mean every movie from that point on is going to. As far as I am concerned Superman had a much better chance of 200M than SM3 does of 350. I predicted 195 -210 for SR and alot of other people thought it would make it to 200 as well. SM3 simply has slim to none of a chance for 350

SLIM. That's why I'm saying, don't count it out. But, I think 350 might be max. As I said anything is - possible- that's why I'm not so quick to say "none" yet.

You guys should not be fooled by the First 6 days WW record held by Pirates. The fact that the movie was released Thursday night, and has an additonal weekend like day with the Memorial Day holiday, really skews the domestic gross which in turn skews the WW gross.

There are 3 categories: Domestic, International, and Worldwide. SM3 still is most likely to reign supreme domestically AND WW this year, maybe not internationally, because Potter brings in some sick numbers there, I'm talking about $600M, but who knows, SM3 looks like it's on it's way to $600M Internationally, it's already at $500M.

Who the hell cares if it makes 330, 340 or 350M domestically, it's about to beat SM1's worldwide cume (in a week or two), which was unthinkable a few weeks ago? I think you people ask for too much.

It's become the point in which record breaking can be considered underperforming for some- it's just really funny. POTC3 smashed a couple of records, like Memorial day- but is still considered 'underperforming' and 'depressing' for example.

I think your wrong in a way to be honest.

It isn't that we expect more than we should it's that it should be doing better than it is. Lets face it Spiderman had a record breaking opening so by all acounts it should beat SM2 domestic but it won't it had a huge drop off much bigger than it should have before any of the competition even came out. That's disappointing. No one was asking for to much we were just asking for what would make sense.

Because the movie budgets have gotten out of control. A person can make an argument that a movie bombed or failed if it doesn't make 800 million WW because it didn't break even.

300 would have been a success even if it only made 100 million because the budget was so low.
