The first wave of toys from this December’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut at the annual geekosystem July 9-12, and today Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive reveal of three playthings that take inspiration from the redesigned white armor of that galactic army.

More toys will be announced as the Dec. 18 movie approaches, but for now Lucasfilm has chosen to keep Daisy Ridley’s desert scavenger Rey, Oscar Isaac’s X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron, and homeward bound Han Solo and Chewbacca at bay in the toy department in favor of showcasing the sleek and sinister stylings of the First Order Stormtroopers.

Although John Boyega’s runaway soldier Finn isn’t unmasked in any of these toys, this is his team – at least at the start. We don’t know much more about the First Order, their position of power within the galaxy, or who (or what) gives them marching orders. But this trio of playthings will give fans a way to flex their imaginations, as Star Wars toys have always done.

How do you know it is not a new development? Perhaps when the Resistance doesn't have time for stuff like that? Also, you would de-arm another Protocol droid just to fix Threepio? Evil.

Just thought I'd mention that Hasbro is doing a fan's choice for the next figure to be in the 6 inch line with the winner being announced at Comic-Con. They took suggestions from various sites and put the top 7 choices in a poll. So far it looks like Darth Revan will be the winner. A lot of people are voting for him also to show that the EU should not be ignored because of Legend status. Some people are suspicious that Mara Jade did not make the list because she got several votes on different sites. Since there was a rule that no The Force Awakens characters could be voted for I can see why some might raise eyebrows.

It's kinda a given why they don't want people voting for The Force Awakens characters, they are gonna be making characters left and right from that movie so they don't want people wasting votes on them. The only way Mara Jade has nothing to do with this is if she didn't get enough votes to make the list and I just find that hard to believe.

I remember seeing a lot of Revan votes and some Sabine and Ben ones. One site had a lot of Grievous votes so I can see why he made it. (Faith in fan-base restored t: ) but it just seems like I saw a lot of Mara support. I'm not saying this proves she is in The Force Awakens. But if there is a way someone can prove she got more votes than someone on the list, I see no other explanation other than she is in the movie.

Ventress got some votes but I don't think she got as much as Mara.

We know the majority of TFA's plot. She's not in it. None of the Legend's characters are. It's not even a question. Disney/JJ have said these are all new characters. It's no mystery. No Mara is in TFA.

I just said if someone proves she got more votes than say Snowtrooper for example then either Hasbro made a mistake or she is in TFA. Because if Hasbro didn't make a mistake it would mean they just flat out refused to put her on the list for whatever reason. Also for the record I have been trying to stay away from spoilers about this movie best I can, but unless JJ has flat out said no legends characters then saying "all new characters" doesn't guarantee anything like you are implying. Also saying we know the majority of the plot as if the whole script has been leaked, knowing a lot about the plot doesn't guarantee anything either.

JJ has shown us these are new characters. Disney said that too. More so Disney has shown it via action.

And yes...the call sheets are in the hands of **************.net who have given us concept art, and leaked screenshots from the film. So....yes...we do know pretty much the entire film. Few small things missing. But we know the layout, and the players. Call sheets are the next best thing you could get from the script. MSW is also besides leaking concept art, and shots from the film, have also been right weeks in advanced about the new trailers and what are in them. So again, we do know the major parts of the film, as well as JJ admitted most of it is out there at Celebration.

There was only 2,229 or so emails for this vote. It's not a lot of people. This is just a stretch/conspiracy with no evidence. Disney and others have said they will take ideas from Legends but that's it.

There has not been a single Legends characters so far in any book, comic, TV series or video game in the new canon. So Disney seems to be keeping with their word.

Also with all that has leaked, something big like that would have already gone through. We know the major twists and plot points of TFA. Something like that would have been mentioned. Sadly people that are clinging to the EU are stretching for their desire to be in there beyond the facts we have.

I did read your post. You said exactly this.

I see no other explanation other than she is in the movie.

You want more? Go to www.**************.net. And read everything for yourself. If you don't want spoilers fine, but the evidence is there. It's just more evidence then what you are providing. Even Kinberg said they may draw from ideas, but that the films will be all new story.
