Love that poster. The gates to Erebor look amazing and I love that everything is covered in ash.

The posters for An Unexpected Journey were largely hideous. This was just horrible and completely removed from the tone of the film:

This was always going to be the best of the three. Plus its not going to be too hard to top unexpected journey

It felt like the Extended Edition. Could have cut 30 mins easily. I'd love to see a tighter edit.
