But he wasn't The Red Skull. I mean, I know the Ultimate line changes some things, but The Red Skull was never a Skrullian general named Kleiser who supplied weapons to the nazia. He was a nazi assasin/special ops agent named Johann Shmidt who later went on to become an international crime boss and terrorist.

How about the fact that his name, powers, history, look, and personality were completely different? Kleiser wasa completely different character.

Dude he was much stronger than regular Skrulls and they made a point to mention in the book that he was far superior to the lesser 'Ch'tauri' Skrulls.

It's not a badge of shame to be wrong sometimes, even I can admit when I'm off the mark.

Except that's nothing like The Red Skull at all. I mean, he wasn't even actually a nazi. He just posed as one and used them to further his goals.

That's not the Red Skull. It's likely either a new Red Guardian or an entirely new character. Hell, with the Ultimates we now have a 'Captain' for at least 9 allied countries, not to mention the near creation of a new 'Cap' in the Annual. One more new one on the bad guys' side wouldn't big that big of a surprise, now would it?
