Venom should only be issue #1 at most.Looks really cool, I just hope they dont spend too much time on Venom.
You posted pics from the Marvel solicits book. I was disappointed to see there when I looked at mine that it said "issue one of five". Does this mean this arc has five issues, or this run of Ultimates has only five issues?not sure if this has been posted yet, but heres some interior art from Ultimates 3 #1

Seems a bit short....It's also serves for a nice separation of creative teams. 1 & 2 were Millar/Hitch, 3 is Loeb/MAD and 4 will be Loeb/McGuinness.I guess it's a precautionary measure for continuity's sake. People need to know where exactly The Ultimates take place in the ultimate timeline and the volumes help with that.
I agree, if only for the reason that I'd imagine Loeb would err on the side of caution. 2 Valkyries, no matter how much of a joke the first one was, has the possibility of confusing people...especially since the 2nd one is being introduced so soon after the first. She wanted to be a superhero so badly, I can see her being powered in some way...or even being revealed as the real Valkyrie all along. Whatever the case, MAD's Valkyrie is phenomenal. It probably is. Now that it's been proven that Thor's the real deal, maybe he pulled the same thing he did in 616 and enhanced her a bit.
I don't get why they are doing this in volumes. why don't they just keep it going?

I'll read it, I'm not expecting greatness but it should be fun. I never take the Ultimate lines very seriously.
