Also in one of the TV spots you see Zod climbing up a building towards Supes who's flying down....So guessing Zod can't fly straight away?
Maybe near the end of the movie but for now everybody is just a super powered Frogger.

I don't think the CG looked awful in GL, I just think they shouldn't have done a literal translation with everything been a construct of light. But this is why I don't think it looked bad, it was meant to be a construct of light and it looked like that.
I agree; the CGI in GL was fine. The movie had plenty of other problems, but the suit, the constructs and Parallax all looked good. I think most of the people who complain about the CGI can't get the thought of the first movie trailer out of their heads.
The mask in GL didn't bother me (at least the CGI of it. Thought the design of the mask could've been better). It was several of the shots on Oa that did. The lighting on Ryan Reynolds looked off compared to the backgrounds in many of those shots, making them look extra-"green screen-y" to me.
Agree completely. They didn't blend the elements of those scenes well at all. I mean we are talking about a character who can manifest objects from a ring with the power of his mind so there are bound to be issues there with how these objects should be projected/rendered. The best CGI is always that which is used to enhance a real image as opposed to creating an entirely new one from scratch, digitally.

I still think they should have had a traditional costume with CGI "greenness" around it.![]()

t:I think they did that CGI shirt rip thing because they had to cut the scene out of him going back to the Daily Planet to get his costume from the broom closet. It was supposed to be a funny moment of him forgetting to wear it at all times from being away for so long. And since they cut that scene it had to be CGI it in there. I think he should've at least filmed a scene with the suit on underneath anyway, just to have it.

I don't think we'll be getting in in MoS either though unfortunately. Unless the very last scene of the movie his him as disguise Clark Kent and his super hearing pics up distress and he removes glasses, rips open shirt and the camera zooms in as Zimmer's main theme blares. That could be cool.
t: So far I have the scenes from Krypton, Clark's early years, Clark's Journey,Smallville Battle and Metropolis Battle . I will work later on Zods Message to Earth,Lois Trip to the Fortress and the Black Zero scenes.
That's exactly what I'm expecting.
