I would like to request that those who don't support this cause, please avoid posting in this thread, thank you.
I've been debating about making a thread for this and finally decided to do so.
As I have said before, with the Superman reboot coming, I once again have put on my TW4S cape and this time around, I want to attempt to unite our fans and supporters like never before and promote Tom Welling to be the new Superman for the reboot.
I appreciate those of you who have shown your support, and because of consistant promotion, the new petition has already hit over 500 signatures.
For those of you haven't signed the petition though, please do so: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/tomwelling4supes
Currently, I've been using a myspace account to promote our cause here: http://www.myspace.com/tomwelling4superman and nearly have 600 friends in support of the cause.
In addition to the petition, I've also been promoting supporters to send letters/post cards/manips to these addresses:
Alan Horn, President / COO,
Warner Bros Entertainment,
4000 Warner Blvd.,
Burbank, CA 91522
[email protected]
Jeff Robinov, President,
Warner Bros Pictures Group,
4000 Warner Blvd.,
Burbank, CA 91522
[email protected]
Legendary Pictures
Thomas Tull, Chairman / CEO
4000 Warner Blvd, Bldg 76
Burbank, CA 91522
(310) 289-6677 fax
In addition, there is also Tom’s publicist. It is important that Tom knows his fans want him to be the next Superman and that he has our support.

I realize many of you are tired of the casting wars and feel promoting and campaigning such a cause won't change anything, and you're right. Chances are, the WB will not listen, or Tom Welling might even turn down the offer. Honestly, I'd rather say that this time around, we the fans tried to support our choice as much as we could. If nothing happens because of it, we can at least say we tried, which is something we didn't do last time and what we got was a disapointing Superman film. I will however say this, imagine if the large fan support was enough for Warners to consider Welling, and if he himself decided to take the role, we could finally get the Superman we wanted. We can either try to promote Welling and nothing happens, or by some miracle something actually could happen. Either way, we can say we stood for something beyond what we did in 2004. Instead of sitting at our desks, making manips, and arguing with those who didn't like welling, we decided to be proactive and support our cause.
I've been doing what I can but I'm honestly only one person and I need some inspiration and fresh ideas. I've posted links here, myspace, facebook, k-site, save superman, The Planet, tv.com, the sweet, SMHP, youtube, and DTS. Do any of you have any new ideas on how to promote the cause? Any help would be Greatly appreciated. Thank you.
