Well, Ultimate Cable just isn't Cable. Usually when the Ultimate version of a character is introduced, it goes up or sideways, never down. I'll have to see how it all turns out before I make my judgment.

I actually like Ult Cable, id take an older version of Logan over a alternate future son of Jean and Scott anytime.

actually he's not an alternate future son of cyclops and jean. cable was cyclops' and jean grey's clone's(madelyn prior) son in the normal timeline. apocalypse infected him with the techno virus and they sent him into the future for a cure or something.

Well, he did say that his claws were turned on him, most likely the claws that were originally a part of his robotic arm, and since those scars are perfectly lined up to look like Wolverine's claws, that's probably how.

Nah, Cable is Wolverine from an alternate future. You can't go back in time and change anything without making a new alternate future so Wolverine might never become Cable at all. If Cable is Wolverine.

Did you never see Back to the Future? They went back in time changed the past and made an alternate future, again they did it in Back to the Future Part 2 and probablly again in Part 3.

Oh wow...on a different note...it seems like Shadow King may be a filler villain in a two issue arc. Gugh. He's one of the few villains who has not been used who could have good potential. I have a feeling they may waste him.

Yeah, wasting the Shadow King would be a shame indeed. They could totally use him to intriduce Betsy back into the book after that whole Proteus-bodyswitch thing.
