Yeah, and never in my mind can I picture Scott with Ororo. They're like oil and water.

Along with her looks and, apparently, parentage, Jean's age is another of the things about her that the writers can't seem to agree on. In the opening arc, Wolverine said she was 19. In Hellfire & Brimstone, Xavier said she was 18. Strangely enough, this was Mark Millar contradicting himself!![]()
Yeah thats what I figured, still didn't make people *forget* that she was a teenagerprobly so it didnt freak people out that she was ( i wanna say 16 lol) and logan is 100+ lol

But have you read any of Min's Elk River Saga? That's what sold me on S/O to begin with, and it's just a shame she never got around to writing the final, post-Weapon-X parts.
I suppose that was you summing up her "romantic" plotline?I hate Kirkman's Storm. She is bland, boring and completely useless.
t:Not yet, cause everytime I get on her site, I keep re-reading 'Grail' and 'Special: The Genesis of Cyclops', I'm so obsessed with the Jean/Scott/Warren relationship.
Im not. Kirkman's Storm sucks and I really wish she would go awayIs anyone as excited as me that Ro is FINALLY going to get her very own storyline about her being afraid the dark/Shadow King/mysterious past thingy after six years?
Yeeeaa! Let's hope it don't suck like the rest of Kirkman's stories for her. Oh wait, he hasn't written anything for anyone outside of the burnt out trio.
Was this confirmed? Is anyone as excited as me that Ro is FINALLY going to get her very own storyline about her being afraid the dark/Shadow King/mysterious past thingy after six years?

lol...pretty muchI suppose that was you summing up her "romantic" plotline?t:
So how does everyone feel the new team will set a better tone for the book?
There's no reason there shouldn't be some cooperation between the two, and it would finally allow us to see some real interaction between the Summers brothers. The tension is already in place, and with Scott pushing pacifism, and Alex wanting mutants to get out and get involved, I don't see these two reconciling anytime soon.
Always like Summers brothers relationship...though I wonder whether or not they would get along better if one of them were girl.
Wow wouldn't that change they dynamic huh? I really think it would be worse. At that point you would have too much interaction cause you would have the brother looking out for the sister and beating up her bad boyfriends lol. And I really can't picture either as a chick...
And I am thinking with Scott kind of out of the picture now that Emma Frost's School of Mutants will be alot more in your face with the new
X-Men team. Or at least I am hoping so.

I am more inclined towards that Scott is carrying on Xavier's dream with a peaceful way and he and the others will have their story (even recruit new mutants will still get them into trouble), and Bishop's team is carrying on Xavier's dream by fighting the evil mutants, I'm not sure that if Emma's students will play a part or not.

I don't know why Marvel hasn't thought about doing something with them... The group at the Academy for Tomorrow has a ton of potential and hasn't been uber-screwed up by the Ultimate line's terrible writers yet!t:
