Me too and not just whenever there is a gay storyline a writer wants to write.

Cyclops sure likes sending his son Cable to apocalyptic futures with little hope for survival. Perhaps his trying to tell him something (like you being around is ruining the fun time I'm having with Emma and you remind me of that time I married a Mr Sinister created clone of Jean which sucked so take a hike)

He'll be dead before long, don't worry. He was, what, 50 when he was introduced? Ignoring "Marvel time flow", we can at least add on 16 years for the time he's spent raising Hope. Bordering on 70 now - better whip out the Magneto de-aging machine quick!

nate grey is more interesting. and he was created to be teen cable...so just kill off cable. if anything transfer his 'essence' into nate..but..naah.. i enjoy nate as is..just off cable already..for good

Nate Grey is horrible and should never have been brought back. Cable is and always has been a much more complex and better character

if anything Vulcan is Nate-lite..seeing as he has been around longer. and Nate didn't have freaking mommy and daddy issues until some crap writer decided that he should..he was living his life as he saw fit and could give a flying donkey about the X-men and their X-problems..but like every other mutant in the Marvel U at one point or another...he got sucked into the X

I say Nate is Vulcan is Nate-lite bc as bad as I thought Nate was, Vulcan is just alot more extreme. He's like Nate but with the volume turned all the way up to the max. Nate seems pretty lite now in comparison to him

its funny, after i read this book every month i like to go to IGN to see how my impressions compare with theirs, and its usually "i love and they hate it". this is the one issue where i felt overall 'meh' and they thought it was Fraction's best work on the title . i liked that [BLACKOUT]Scott had the X-Club tracking the bullet since the beginning and Magneto held onto its 'scent' since it passed earth[/BLACKOUT], but i guess part of me wanted more (more explanation, more answers, more reactions). and i think the last 4 pgs were wasted. either give me some text to put everything in context or give me a final scene to ties off the story. but i loved that [BLACKOUT]Kitty is stuck as a ghost now[/BLACKOUT] and everything didn't end all Happily Ever After.

I'm kind of the same boat.

And man, I've started liking coming in this thread and just talk past X-Men stuff, but I'm doing everything I can to dodge anything having to do with Second Coming so I don't spoil anything. I'm trying to do with that all my titles lately, but especially this. So I likely won't be showing up in here anymore until Second Coming is finished

Oh... and X-Man vs. Vulcan....


Both of them rock! It'd be a cool battle but in the end, Vulcan would kick X-Man's butt, despite my liking X-Man better. His energy manipulation powers would get the better of X-Man I think.
