Iceman can't die. Not unless you kill him telepathically, since his mind always survives the destruction of his body.

I think he can die in human form. In Iceform, he's pretty much immortal

But he goes into every fight in ice form. You'd have to catch him completely off guard, and it'd have to be a kill shot. I imagine if you only injure him in human form, he'll have enough time to switch to ice and save himself.

I never said he's going to be hit with TP in Second Coming (bc I dont think he's dying). I was just responding to you saying he cant die. Blocking access to his powers which telepaths can do is one way to make him vulnerable for a kill. Now that I mention that, a power dampener would have a similar effect. Bastion and his prime sentinels had access to that type of tech in OZT

LOVE how human they made Hope. Jumping on the bed, feeling like a kid in a candy store when she went shopping, getting that hairbrush. It was good bc she was cheated out of having a normal childhood

#523 was a great issue I thought. It's really getting me excited for what's to come, and the little scenes with Hope were nice touches. I know what you mean about Emma being domesticated though...I was rereading some of Morrison's New X-Men the other day, and she's definitely lost a lot of her bite since then. She's still a decent character in my eyes though, I hope she's not the one to die.

I'm still a bit annoyed that Storm seems to be completely absent from this event. She's gone from being a major X-Man and one of the biggest mutant heroes in the MU to being relegated to one little corner - to the extent that she's not even involved in the biggest X-event since Messiah Complex.

Yeah, I think she's in Doomwar, that Black Panther event. Still a bit annoying though. But if the story doesn't need her, I guess there's no reason to complain.

No Xmen story in the last few years have needed Stornm unfortunately. With the exception of the Extremists, anything she was involved in since she got married, wouldnt have changed if you took her out. She's been a glorified cameo and they've made her pretty irrelevant

i was never under her . i understand and respect her importance and the impact shes had on the team, but i never really cared for the character. her being on the team, i can take her or leave her and i wouldnt really care either way.

unfortunately Marvel agrees with you. I personally miss her. I was so happy when they got rid of her but its long since time she came back to being an important figure in the X world.
