And I mean how serious they're taking this movie. It's like they think that Snyder and Miller are promoting this film as non-fiction. Someone created a petition against the film and it's got 15,000 sigs in 48 hours. This is crazy:dry:

False creation of history, distorting facts, and spreading violence against the Persian community.

Some people really need to loosen up. But on a side note, they're not going to stop this force to be reckoned with at the boxoffice :o

ppl can be so damn stupid i swear.....probably a Persian did this....But Im sure nothing is gonna happen anyways...they will get it and then toss it to the side. Sure courts wouldn't even look at something like this

And I of course duh ........... knew that Xerxes wasn't like that , that there was no general loser killer monster , no secret monsters or anything like this of movie ........... But still some people specially here , I don't know just look at this :

If At least I could understand some people , I don't wanna know how persian people want a movie to look like , but I really want to know how would be the history , and if the greeks would kill more than 20.000

The fact they didn't kill Xerxes means they didn't change history.
But there was a sea battle going on at the same time not to far from the Hot Gates that was completely forgotten about.
 
That's so stupid. It's a comic book movie. It's like going to see Superman and saying "OMG, Christopher Reeves can't fly."
 
And people ignore the fact that in the film, Dilios is telling the story and adding his own spin to it. It's an old man's recollection of what has happened. If you're going to bash someone, bash Dilios for churning the story out differently. Dilios view is not used in the book, the whole point of Snyder adding that bit was so show it's not suppose to be exactly like history but no one pays attention to that.

wow......thats not all I can say. Ok who ever wrote that needs to seriously die. I mean im not making a death threat but just seek another profession. Be a a$$hole somewhere else. Why didnt they do this with something like Troy??? Look at Achilleles. But because it deals with persians people go nuts. I also read another article or movie review saying the film was racist. Yeah. thats so dumb. They said the the Spartans were all white which was true. They said that there foes were all brown and black which was partially true. ummm Look at Lord of the Rings. All of the good guys are white while the Orcs are black. True there monsters. But just shut up about this movie. It's not history. Its mythololgy. If they want to put in monsters let them. If they want to let the Persian King Xerxes be 9 feet tall let them. ITS ENTERTAINMENT. Leave it alone. ITS A FORM OF ART. 300 is NOT a documentary. IT IS NOT HISTORY. It is Frank Miller's brain child and needs to be left alone. This is like saying that Spider-man cant sling webs or lift a car just because were not that far ahead in science. I hate people like that. I hate them so much.

I knew the film was supposed to be mythology though i felt i had to complain regardless. Just like i ahve been for 23 2 divided by 3 is not 666! Though the film was great regardless of the change of a greek farmer ratting them out to a horny, mutant looking guy was much better.

Thats so stupid. I can't believe people have nothing better to do. Can anyone tell me how many movies that are based on historical storied are accurate? This is a comic book.
 
The comic has been on the shelves of comic book stores for years and nobody has said a word. The simple fact is that had this movie been made at any other point in history nobody would have said anything.

Writers, blogers and other media sources with continue to exploit the subject matter of this movie due to the current political climate.

IMO that is the real exploitation of the “Persian community,” basically to use the guise of political correctness to imply that there is some sort of a hateful undertone to Persian (Iranian) people within the subject matter of what is really a fantasy film.

Now let’s play “devils advocate” for a second and say Frank does not like Iranians. Who give a frog’s fat ass? They are about to go nuclear and are in cahoots with North Korea and have said they want to nuke their enemies.

Being that Frank is an American citizen he may not like the idea of being nuked and made them out to be monsters in a movie.

By no means do I think that is true for a second but the wussification of the entire world is mind blowing. I mean nobody said anything back in the 80’s when the Russians and Vietnamese where the movie bad guys.

Now everybody would rather lie down and die rather than possibly insult someone. Hell I am an Italian American and you don’t see me or the rest of the Italian American community getting all butt hurt every time the bad guy is an Italian mobster.

The whole argument is a bunch of crap if you ask me and is what happens when corporate policy starts ruling the world rather than honest men and women. They are all a bunch of impotent, cowardly morons who get off of telling other people how to live their lives and what to think and feel.

Only in Fox News made reality. That is far more inaccurate than 300.
Iran never said they were building "nucular" weapons or that they plan to use them. And in no way they are in cahoots with North Korea.
