I saw the title and thought the series is based on the novel adapted into the movie; There Will Be Blood, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

kindasorta sounds like a working-man's Dallas, but on a much lesser scale...

Don Johnson being in it piques my interest but it does seem like a slightly less ludicrous version of Dallas.
