Real D uses acual polarized glasses with their 3d projection system just like Imax 3d...But its so new not many theaters carry that particular brand yet.
I think thats the digital projector at most Carmike theaters...But Ive never seen them offer a screening of an actual 3d film that would require the glasses like Imax does
