I was thinking Dacre Montgomery for Johnny:

I think he's a future big star in the making... But I think Johnny should be an honest to goodness high school aged kid. The younger Johnny the easier is it for me to buy the impulsiveness and flippancy and not get mad that he's not just hot headed but being written as a complete idiot which happens too often in adaptations. Making him a kid, or under 21 at least it makes a lot more sense for him to act as he does. Seeing Evans supposedly being an astronaut acting as he did was just painful. If Johnny is a real teen then it works out that he acts out like he does because he hasn't fully formed the tools in his emotional toolbox so to speak.

He's a year older than Tom Holland. But I think having him be a teen makes him being with them when he gets his powers odd.

By the time the FF get introduced Spider-Man will likely be in college. That is a great age for Johnny. College age is still considered a time where you can be bit more childish and impulsive. You're still figuring stuff out.
Plus Montgomery is only a year older than Holland so he's in the right age range.

I could get down with that in terms of having some bagginess. I honestly cant wait to see what marvel comes up with. The costume design in the mcu has been great imo.

 Yeah. Dr. Strange really impressed me. I had trouble imagining that one until we saw it, and they really nailed it.

I was the exact same way, then when they did the reveal I was genuinely floored to see how well they translated his costume. Same for BPs civil war suit.

According to google he's 23.

He still looks older than Holland though. People can be the same age or younger and still look older. Depends on the individual.

For example, Charlie Plummer, who was one of the candidates for Peter Parker, seemed to have a rather high hairline as if it was already receding for his age.

Yeah they did a great job on what could have been a hard costume to get right (same goes for Thor). Plus Dr Strange power-wise was amazing in IW.

Yep. The age they come across and can convincingly play is more important than the real age of the actor to me.

The way everything was coming together in IW had me so anxious to have FF be a part of all this.

It still doesn't feel real to think they'll really be part of it. I hope we have something solid in the relatively near future - like an official film date before the end of 2019.

Agreed. I want a college Johnny. If he's slightly older than Peter, so be it

Johnny was a 16 year old teenager so he should be whatever age Peter is in the MCU. Which will probably be 17-18. Evans and Jordan were both too old

Michael B Jordan looked older than the others when he should've looked the youngest. But then Jamie Bell looked weedier than the others when he should've looked the toughest.

The next IW style event in maybe 10 years after another 3 phases will be sure to involve F4 and I bet a Reed invention will be key too. Imagine that!!

Maybe it will be a time-travelling epic adventure involving visiting some of the events of the 10th anniversary. Could be like Dr Who.

After all the disappointment I've been through, my brain won't allow me to believe it will really happen. I can't shake the feeling that something is going to happen to get in the way of this.:o

I don't blame you. But I have a good feeling about it all this time.

I'm sure Kang would be happy with this.

Garfield as Reed is another choice that I really like, that I haven't thought of

I'll admit If Garfield was cast. then I would totally laugh if they had Reed and Peter meet in a crossover film and how kind of awkward it would be seeing a former Spider-Man actor acting with a current Spider-Man actor but aside from my amusement from that I just don't see it. In a way I kind of think it's like the casting of Miles Teller as Reed.
