Or another FF MCU cast

Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic- John Krasinski
Susan "Sue" Storm/Invisible Woman- Rosamund Pike
Ben Grimm/The Thing- John Cena (this would be the perfect hero for Cena to play)
Johnny Storm/Human Torch- Dacre Montgomery

Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom- Dan Stevens

Did you guys think that Marvel(if the deal goes through) should use Ross's FF designs as the basis for their MCU costume designs?

This design sort of reminds me of the MCU Stark-enhanced Spidey costume because of the black lines featured on them.

That's a rather fun design.

personally I'd enjoy something akin to the Future Foundation suits.

Interesting. I actually think Dan Stevens would be a great Reed. Maybe the best actor for the role.

Reed should have a certain level of intensity, to distinguish him as a character. Krasinski seems too relatable to be the smartest man alive.

The best possible choice for Reed is Matt Smith. It's like right there.

If only Ron Perlman was younger. Always wanted him to be Ben Grimm.

Ron Perlman could be Blastaar!

Or another MCU Fantastic Four cast that I could see under Disney/Feige:

Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic- Ethan Hawke
Sue Storm/Invisible Woman- Blake Lively
Johnny Storm/Human Torch- Dave Franco
Ben Grimm/The Thing- John Cena
Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom- Craig Parker

Isn’t it a shame we will never see joe Pesci as the thing?

John Krasinski:

He looks like Captain America :woot:.

I think Krasinski works due to his hybrid badass yet lovable nerd demeanor.

Edit.

Out of these 4 I would go with Gyllenhaal if he isn't snagged up by the DCEU to play Bruce Wayne/Batman then Reed would be perfect for Gyllenhaal to play

JGL...Joseph Gordon Levitt is my man my ideal pick for this role

John Cena is perfect as Ben Grimm like if there was ever a superhero for John to play it would be Ben Grimm

Plus added bonus it would be nice to see him and fellow WWE alumni Dave Bautista together in the MCU especially if John were to be cast as Ben Grimm/The Thing

Shame The Rock can't crossover too. ;)

Screen Rant posted an article about who they'd cast, which was ok I guess, but in the comments there was an interesting choice by a poster for Reed. Sendhil Ramamurthy:

I think he could be a really good choice, he played a believable smart guy in the show Heroes. Unfortunately, I haven't seen his other shows so I can't verify how good his acting is in general.

He’s my choice for the beast.

I wonder how you do fantastic four post rick and Morty? It’s pretty much my template for what I want from fantastic four in terms of quirky huge but human sci fi but obviously the characters are very different

I could see him as Beast. For me it would be hard top top Kelsey Grammer, that was perfect casting. I also don't think Beast needs to have a major role or even be in any future X-films from Marvel. Changing the main characters would differentiate their version more from the Fox ones.

That's when the superhero aspect kicks in, they save the day in bombastic ways. Plus the film being live-action helps, you can immerse people in imaginative worlds in a way that cartoons can not. Rick and Morty is great cartoon, but it's animation isn't the best for transporting the audience (that's not a slight against the animation as it suits the show perfectly). Also, Rick and Morty is very cynical and it's target audience are only adults which are two things that a FF film won't be.

If anything Rick and Morty makes me even more hopeful about a true FF film as some have tried to say that no one cares about sci-fi adventures anymore and that show has proven them wrong. It has even borrowed from the FF before with the popular Council of Ricks.
