Garfield as Reed is another choice that I really like, that I haven't thought of

Garfield would still seem like Peter Parker. He doesn't seem that much older than when he was playing Spider-Man. He was already too old for Peter then. I don't want to see him as Reed. I wouldn't see Reed when I look at him.

Garfield would be a good choice, but it doesn't seem like he'll be willing to do another superhero franchise again. He mentioned how he didn't enjoy the spotlight the Spider-Man films put on his personal life. He also didn't stand the corporate politics - granted Marvel Studios is less corporate than Sony but still.

Speaking of real-life couples to pull off Reed and Sue, Garfield and Stone would have been perfect for the role. Especially since they're getting up there in age for what Marvel would consider a "young" Reed and Sue for their franchise. If history played out different I would have loved to see them in those roles.

Johnny was a 16 year old teenager so he should be whatever age Peter is in the MCU. Which will probably be 17-18. Evans and Jordan were both too old

I definitely want to see an immature Johnny to contrast with reeds super seriousness and ben’s stoutness

Who knows what will be possible in that much time as I'm pretty sure whatever they end up doing in Avengers 4 and what they did in IW are things way beyond what I could ever have expected before the MCU started.

Me neither. I didn't feel he even worked that well as Peter Parker. He was more like some Sk8ter boi who didn't really seem that much of a nerd.

How about Olivia Wilde for Sue? If Isaac is cast as Reed, I can see her with him. She's 34 while Isaac is currently 39 so while not a huge gap I think its kind of in line with the comics. I think Wilde was up for Gamora once.

And I really enjoy her chemistry with Isaac in this recent trailer for a movie they're starring together in. I could easily see them be Reed and Sue.

Someone needs to volunteer to compile lists of all these fan-casting suggestions and create polls for each member of the team (+Doom). We did that for Doctor Strange when his film was announced and we had a lot of fun with it.

Olivia Wilde looks really quite cold though. Like Blunt, her face doesn't really have that natural warmth about her.

Well we need to remember who said what.

I only have 3 cast members assembled at the moment:

1. Ethan Peck for Reed
2. Lily James for Sue
3. Seth Rogen for Ben

Haven't found candidates I'm totally happy with for Johnny or Doom yet. I would've been fine with Mads Mikkelsen for Doom but he's already been used.

Why? The worst received rendition went the young route. The only one who should be young and in their early 20s is Johnny.

The rest should be in their 30s.
