Dean Norris looks like someone's grandfather, or at least like Sue or Johnny's father. And Taron Egerton seems too old for Johnny. He certainly seems older than Tom Holland.

Wouldn't say that's a bad thing depends what age they want to have everyone be.

Nearly every choice is better than Blunt.

Really? Surprised at the lack of interest in Blunt the woman is a great actress can't honestly say I've ever seen a bad performance from her.

its not that Blunt isn't a good actress, she just isn't a good choice for Sue imo. She would make a better Emma Frost or Mystique

See we must just have different tastes. Don't get me wrong she is a beautiful woman lol I just wouldn't have said she oozes sex appeal that I thought was associated with those characters. (this is just from my Fox's movies im getting this for all I know both could be rather conservative in the comics)

The I don't think she is conventionally attractive either but I think she is better suited for a role that calls for someone with a colder, more serious exterior like Mystique. There's a reason why Marvel wanted her for Peggy and Black Widow and not Sharon Carter or Carol Danvers

I didn't know she'd already had the call, really wish DC had snapped her up for Cheetah.

I watched Grace Randolph's choices for the cast and boy was it rough. Apparently Sue's requirements is that she has to be hot enough for Namor to want to bang... :whatever:

Anyway, there was one choice that I think could really work and that was Cole Sprouse as Johnny. He's only 4 years older than Tom Holland and I think he could work.

Can the next F4 movie also please get a decent run time? The last 2 have been embarrassingly short. How did F4 2007 and 2015 end up with run times bellow 2 hours? ridiculous.

 I want it to be EPIC. I want it to redefine the scope and scale of a comic book film. I want amazing cinematography and broad, sweeping visuals that make IW seem somewhat small in comparison.

You wanted a 2 and a half hour version of Fant4stic? It was long and tedious enough.

Some have suggested Peyton Reed helm the FF but judging from what I've seen from his work on the Ant-Man films so far I have serious reservations about his ability to deliver on those things that I've bolded.

I feel like he could probably deliver a pretty good serviceable F4. But not the spectacular that they actually deserve.

After A Quiet Place id be open to Krasinski not only starring as Mr Fantastic but directing as well. If he can prove himself further with a couple more movies between now and 2020/21 when this movie will likely go into production then id be open to him directing as well.

I'm not sold on Emily Blunt. If this was 2008 I think Reese Witherspoon could have owned Sue Storm/Invisible Woman akin to RDJ owning Tony Stark/Iron Man.

John Krasinski, however, is perfect. I really want to see him as Reed.

Or Dylan, either one. It's impressive how much they've both grown up so classically movie-star handsome.

To be fair, I don’t know if Marvel would hire anyone to make the film I see in my head, or allow them to make it if they did. I want Peter Jackson, but that’s not going to happen, so in the real world, I’d be okay with Peyton Reed, because they could do worse.

... better Peyton Reed than Tim Story or Josh Trank.

Do you reckon we’ll ever see the impossible man appear? I could see him as a Howard the duck type Easter egg. Or something agents of shield does in order to tie into the fantastic four movie

I wonder who could play him?

What villain would you like to see them start with?

Think Doom & Galactus should be saved for an Avenger's crosssover

He always annoyed me in the comics, and they definitely shouldn't feature him as a primary character, but as a minor, side character, he could be fun.

I like the idea of starting with Moleman which would give them the opportunity to emphasize the sci-fi/explorer elements as they explore Subterranea and and battle exotic creatures, encounter exotic environments etc.

But I also like Annihilus, and a similar exploration of the Negative Zone could serve a similar purpose.

I definitely want to see Doom and Galactus, but they can (and probably should) wait.

Blastaar and Annihilus in the Negative Zone. Exploration should be at the forefront of MCU FF, something that the Fox films never did. It could also set up a possible Annihilation event film for the cosmic heroes.

Yeah he would be cool not really a power set or setting we have really seen in a comic book movie very often.

My only worry is would it draw too many parallels between The Incredibles.

Didn't it start with a similar villain? And lets be honest that's the best Fantastic Four movie that's been out and it isn't even the Fantastic Four lol.

But Mole Man could definitely work I just had a little read up about him. Would be a cool inclusion to explain his "knowledge of technology centuries beyond conventional science" that what if a Kree or Skrull ship crashed in to Earth long ago and he discovered it embedded deep in the Earth and adapted the technology.

He could have created the Moloids with some Kree genetic engineering technology so when he does rise as a threat he is actually a pretty legitimate one.

I hadn't heard of these two but had a quick read and they seem like massive threat villains. (Can you tell I don't know that much about the FF? lol) I would say maybe to save them for the sequel just from a less familiar fans point of view. The Negative Zone seems like something they should introduce, explain a bit about it because its a big concept and tease one of those two for the sequel as both seem to be like world or universe level threats.

You haven't heard of the guy who blasts things? and the guy who annihilates? :oldrazz:

That show will be long done by the time the MCU Fantastic Four movie comes out.

Are you kidding? Impy is great! He could be the best wildcard ever in the MCU because he's so powerful and unpredictable. Impossible Man doesn't have an ounce of malice in him but he can do great harm and (accidental) good. Like the time he lured/allowed Galactus to devour his homeworld, Poppup, only to nearly cause the world-eater's demise through a massive case of gas. :funny: Tell me that wouldn't be fun to watch.
