Wasn't she Peyton's pick for Sue? Anyway, I'd be down for her to direct too. I'm not joking. Stranger things have happened. Especially in this shared universe.
Peyton’s choice was Charlize.

With John C. Reilly as The Thing! That would’a been pretty cool.

In that case, women are just as much Gypsies as men. So let's have a female Doom.

You joke but...

Get her for Morgan Le Fay. She's a big Avengers villain who has worked with Doom. I don't know if the Marvel version is tied up with Spider-Woman rights though.

We haven't even had a proper Male Doom slow your roll on a female one.

The next Doom has to finally get him right. Really hope his popularity takes off and he sees a huge rise in awareness with the GA.

There are so many good casting ideas for Sue. Mackenzie Davis, Elizabeth Banks, Kristin Bell and more. It’s a shame Rachael McAdams took the Doctor Strange role as she would have been a great Sue too.

As for Doom.... not sure about who could play him but for his character, he could take over the fallen city of Sokovia and have him turn it into Latveria. Take this little bit from the Ultimate comics while not taking the hooves version of him.

Finally started watching Westworld and it reinforces my choice of Evan Rachel Wood for Sue. She's awesome.

She can do the kind, girl next door, and intelligent personality as well as play a believable badass.

A part of Sue's personality is that while she isn't a genius, she is very intelligent and can keep up with someone like Reed. She needs to be strong enough to reign in the big personalities on her team. She's the second in command and is a strong leader in her own right, she also has her own faults, flaws, and fears. I think Evan Rachel Wood has the look and acting talent to bring a really complex and interesting Sue to the big screen, and finally go justice to the most powerful member of the team.

I just hope Disney gives her a call and that she's interested.

I hope Disney calls Lily James before they call Evan Rachel Wood :oldrazz:

Lily must certainly be on their radar anyway.

Lily must be as she was Cinderella. I’d prefer her over Even Rachel Wood.

I hope that Marvel/Disney contact many different actors for the roles and test them out to find the perfect ones that gel well together. I hope Evan Rachel Wood is on their list seeing as she's on a popular show and is a great actress.

I think Lily James has a kinder and more approachable face than Evan Rachel Wood.

Evan Rachel Wood can easily look/act just as kind as well as badass. Plus she's proven herself to be a really strong actress which is the most important thing.

Plus I see Sue looking more like she did during Marvel Knights and Hickman's run. She's been looking fierce most of the time these past 20+ years.

Also Wood is a mother which can help when Sue eventually has Franklin.

Off-Topic but why weren’t the team ever included in the MvC games? Does Constantin also own their game rights?

Charlotte Rampling would make such a badass woman doctor doom

Well for a bit Disney said to marvel “please don’t use the characters we don’t have the rights to because $$$$” but obviously that’s not an issue anymore. So maybe they just didn’t think they were popular enough. Maybe in a sequel?

Yeah to be honest that’s why I’m more interested in a slightly older actress. More desperate housewives/big little lies less cw/pretty little liars.

The real conversation is which esteemed actress will play Victor's mother, the Lady Cynthia Von Doom, in the origin flashbacks.

(Eva Green up there works for me.)

Apparently, Marvel doesn't see the team as individuals. They said that if Capcom wanted one of team, they needed all of the team in the game. That's why Super Skrull was used instead in MvC3. For the recent MvC Infinite it was because of the ban on all FF characters in games and merchandise.
It's really annoying.

I hope that that things have changed and we see them more in games whether it's together or separately.

Flicking through channels last night came across Ray Donovan.

Liev Schreiber could make a good Ben Grimm.

He really would. He's a New Yorker, Jewish, obviously talented and has a great voice. The only question is should the actor for Ben Grimm be closer to the age of the rest of the cast? If they cast a mid-to-late thirties Reed is a fifty-year-old Ben too old? Or does it not matter since Thing will probably be CGI for most of the movie anyway?
