I'm interested to see how Ledger will look as Joker, but after watching Sleeper Cell and seeing cast member Henri Lubatti, I couldn't help but think that I could easily see him as Joker:

I don't know if anyone ever suggested him before Ledger was cast, but he seems like a pretty good actor, especially with a knack for accents, so creating a voice for Joker might have been interesting.

he's just some guy

what about....

this guy? :joker:

On looks alone? Eh, I guess.

Still, I don't look at him and go "now that is the Joker."

He certainly got the Joker Longated like face.

However, this is a moot point at best.

If you don't like it, don't post in the thread. I wasn't trying to be an ass about it, but I just saw an actor, and I couldn't help but think, "He has a much better look about him, and a specialty for voices that would have been great for Joker". Yes, I know it's a moot point, but damn. I didn't think it'd hurt to comment on it.

there is a Joker thread for any comments on the casting choice. no need for a new thread. well on the other hand you kept the title in general so it is not that out of place I guess:huh:

Don't be so sensitive.

This issue was debated over and over again in the past.

Obviously, you have every right to post whatever you want to. But, given the fact that the joker has already been cast, any further discussion with regards to who can play him is irrelevant. So don't get all prissy if you get crap for posting such info. Either grow a thicker skin or refrain from posting such topics.

But, I thought Heath was already cast as The Joker?

I really don´t get this problem some people have with Ledger´s look. He has a long chin, a big grin, his nose looks about right. He just needs an evil expression, but that´s supposed to come from his acting. What is it, he had to be born with white skin and green hair?

If looks were the the defining factor on casting characters we wouldn't have Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Cillian Murphy nor would we have had Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson nor Michelle Pfeiffer.

In other words, what's your point?

In fanboys I'm annoyed.

Yeah KenK you hardly ever miss with your post I think your one of the better posters on this board but no way sorry. I forget who exactly first suggested him but I loved the out of nowhere suggestion of Bradley Cooper from Wedding Crashers.

But I still hold onto my old wishes and hopes of you know who. The Lachy

I'm still curious to see what Ledger will be able to do with the character, but after seeing Four Rooms, I'd say Tim Roth would've been an awesome Joker.

Tim Roth WOULD HAVE OWNED IT. Shame they went with pretty boy Heath.

I don't care about the actor's look because anyone, with the use of makeup and prosthetics, can look like The Joker.

I was shooting for sean penn but did'nt work out...:csad:
