Virtual reality One Piece game sets sail for western shores.

One Piece: Grand Cruise will launch for PlayStation 4 as a PlayStation VR-exclusive in the Americas and Europe in 2018, Bandai Namco announced.

Here is an overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:

A pirates life is fun, but dangerous. Go on a journey to the ocean together with the Straw Hat Pirates. The player is an apprentice pirate of the Straw Hat Pirates, and embark on a one day voyage on the Thousand Sunny. Adventures and events only unique to virtual reality will unfold, including navy shooting battles and communication events in which youll become closer with the Straw Hat Pirates.

PlayStation VR game features two gameplay modes.

One Piece: Grand Cruise will launch for PlayStation VR via the PlayStation Store on May 24 in Japan, the latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals.

The virtual reality will have two gameplay modes:

Marine Battle! VS Marines Chapter A rain of fire from the marine warship! Work with the Straw Hat Pirates while returning fire from the cannons!

Repel! VS Kraken Chapter A supergiant kraken grapples with the Thousand Sunny. Attack its head and tentacles with the cannon.

In addition to these modes, you can also interact with the members of the Straw Hat Pirates aboard the Thousand Sunny ship.

A western release for One Piece: Grand Cruise is planned for 2018, but a release date has yet to be announced.

One Piece virtual reality game dated.

One Piece: Grand Cruise will launch for PlayStation VR via the PlayStation Store on May 22 in the Americas and Europe, Bandai Namco announced.

In Japan, the game was previously confirmed for release on May 23.
Here is a brief overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:
In One Piece: Grand Cruise, players step onto the famous Thousand Sunny ship to meet the legendary Straw Hat Crew including Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and many more while they brave fierce battles and fire cannons to defend their ship!
By choosing rooms to explore within the ship, players will be able to make choices to guide their own experience and feel what its like to be a pirate!
