"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

Ok, shamless plug time. We're looking for a few new owners to take teams in the Dream Team Fantasy League. If you don't know what that is, you put together a team of characters and writeup battles against other teams of characters each week. The battles can be as general or detailed as you want, and can have as much character interaction as desired and storylines.

We've got four ownerless teams which you can take over and modify all you want, or put your own new team together. If your interested just pm or drop by the DTL thread (link in my sig). Everyone will help you out.

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio:
The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

Having only briefly obtained the power of the Green Lantern ring, Hal Jordan (guided by his mentor Sinestro) has suddenly found himself on a desparate mission to a world he has never seen to face an evil he has never encountered. The world-eater Galactus has made his way to Oa, homeworld to the Guardians of the Universe and base of operations for the Green Lantern Corps. To prevent the doom of their world, the Guardians have called forth every Lantern in the Corps to defend Oa from this powerful being....

Powers: While in possession of the power ring, Hal is capable of manipulating virtually anything within his will-power to control, with the exception of things that are colored yellow (due to a currently unknown "impurity" in the ring) Though this ability makes him extremely powerful, the ring must be recharged every 24 hours or it will lose its power.

Taking their cue, Sinestro and Jordan have left Earth, soaring through the cosmos towards a battle the likes of which Earthmen have never seen. And Jordan, with still little understanding of the unbelievable power he now wields, is about to realize that the universe is a far more dangerous place than he ever imagined...

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. I've always been a fan of GL, and I'd really like a heroic character to balance out all of the evil stuff I'm doing as Zod.

2. Lantern's a vital character, and it's kind of odd that no one else has decided to pick him up full-time yet.

3. I've got some interesting ideas for what might happen in the battle between the Corps and Galactus, and what that will mean for when Hal returns to Earth.

What can you bring to this game?

Detailed and creative writing, and genuine admiration and dedication to the character, along with some different ideas to fit it into the combined DC/Marvel Universe.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG:

At least once a day.

What did everyone think of the Doom/Luthor meeting?

I thought it was awesome! very well written stuff Your Doom own ass hard!

Aside from that I'm going to drop Sentry as I said until Sparta*'s return as Reed Richards. Instead I will be picking up a new charcater, one that should bring alot of fun into this RPG. The character that I will be picking up will have his identity witheld for a short while as to build suspence, as a few people have done in other RPG's. I will however put up a basic ap describing what the characters purpose is, and allow you to kind of guess on it for a while. I plan on having him interact with very specif characters to achieve what he wants so watch my future posts carefully.

What did everyone think of the Doom/Luthor meeting?

I personally thought it was great. In a One Universe RPG, a meeting between Lex Luthor and Dr. Doom HAD to happen. LibrarianThorne, your Dr. Doom is excellent. I can't wait to see what you have planned for him.

Unfortunatly Keysers guess was incorrect as well, which mean the man is still a mystery! He probobly had the closest guess so far though. Definatly thinkin in the right direction!
