I was having so much fun w/this in the general films section, I decided to do one specifically for comic book movies. Please try to give examples.
Only in comic book movies, does the traumatic, life-changing incident which triggers one's decision to fight or commit crimes magically endow one with sewing skills & the needed materials for one's wardrobe/arsenal (Spider-Man, Daredevil, Catwoman, Riddler).

Only in comic book movies does wearing 5-inch rubber horns, a scalloped cape & a black rubber suit w/a bat-like symbol constitute "dressing like a bat."

Only in comic book movies can a group of 6 mutants hold off an army of hundreds of evil mutants (x3)

WITHOUT using the most powerful weapons at their disposal, such as a hurricane or an ice barrage.

Only in comic book movies does ANYONE continue to fire upon a subject who is clearly bulletproof (Superman, Hulk, Doom) or threaten someone with a gun after establishing that they can't be shot (Magneto).

Unless you've got Kryptonite bullets that is.

You'd think he'd make productive use of that time; call Lois, figure out what they're having for dinner. Maybe call the bank & pay a bill or two while these idiots fire 500 ineffectual rounds at him.

Only in comic book movies can a hero take the time to draw their symbol in gasoline to have it set fire dramatically, and nobody notices.

Only in comic book movies when a man with superhuman strength can hold back a train

Only in movies could a guy pick up a small ilsand without it crumbling under it's own weight around him.

Only in comic book movies could a guy get shot in the chest, then blown off a dock, and still be ticking. (The Punisher)

I take it that's something Brandon does.

Only in Comic book movies can a guy just wear glasses as a disguise, and have nobody recognize him.

That's true; I wore glasses for nearly 20 years & when I switched to contacts, it took people a second but they ususally ID'd me pretty quickly. I remember when I first started wearing them-at age 5-that the other kids wouldn't recognize me.

only in comic book movies can a man or woman aquire maertial arts skills tha would take 10-15 years to learn by having his teacher put a hand on his /her head [bulletproof monk]for the record i wish that could happen to me

Only in Comic book movies can someone who was a complete clutz and geek become an ultimate fighter and gymnast as soon as they gain their superpowers

Only in comic book movies does being exposed to radiation give a person super powers instead of cancer.

Best examples there are Spider-Man & Catwoman.

and Daredevil, in the movie he trained himself.

I had put this in the General movies one, but it really belongs here:
Only in comic book movies does the loved one, who's been kidnapped FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF DRAWING OUT THE HERO-point out that the hero will come to their rescue and/or foil the villain's plan. (Batman Forever, Superman Returns)

Only in comic book movies can a person master martial arts w/no outside influence or training. (Daredevil, Catwoman, CINO)
