Only Their Knowledge is Improtant: The Brainiac Thread

Oh, so it’s less a matter of them all auditioning and more that one (possibly) has auditioned while the other two she just made up out of thin air.

It's probably the guy I never heard of.
Well…

I’ve only seen him in The Northman, so I can’t truthfully say whether or not I’d be into this pick.

But goddamn Grace for getting me excited about David Hyde Pierce! :argh:

I wonder are they doing the cyborg or alien version for Brainiac?

Exciting to have it confirmed though.

I think we get a bit of both, like the Geoff Johns/Gary Frank book— looks like classic green Brainiac but acts like S:TAS.

Grace Randolph is only full of **** about 200% of the time but Claes was one of my top choices for Brainiac so I’m hoping she’s actually right for once. He was brilliant in Dracula and especially on Bad Sisters. If he brings some of that smarmy John Paul energy to Brainiac, it could be a legendary performance.

I bet we see Jor-El and Lara inside Kandor.

Clark can confront them about their message. And maybe even teach them a lesson along the way—being a man of tomorrow and all that. Then Jor-El can make a choice that saves Earth, but leaves him confined in Kandor.

How's the harem coming along? Oh you found yourself 2 concubines so far son. Wonderful. We hope both will bear a suitable offspring for the House of El.

I'm glad the character will finally , get the big screen treatment.

They tried to get him on the big screen since the Reeve era, so, I'm glad that Gunn will use him for Man Of Tomorrow .

Congratulations everyone. I feel like we’ve been waiting for this day for ages.

I remember when Zod was announced for Man of Steel and the vibe was very much…ah cool I guess but Brainiac was definitely what everyone was expecting. Now we’re here!

Good times ahead for super fans

The alien Brainiac with the skull ship and everything else is the perfect version of the character that would require Superman to team up with his archenemy.

I think both versions would be personally. I liked the Cyborg version in Injustice 2. But I would be happy with either.
